City thrift Sunday quarter sale

Wii
Rock Band
Hanna Montana
High School Musical
$0.75 for all 3 wii games (might have over paid on the shovel ware lol)

Dreamcast controllers one regular and one 6 button figher $.50

Final Fantasy 7 GH CIB $5. Already have black label but how can turn down ff7 for $5 even with it plummeting in price the last couple years. I'd trade it here but then I couldn't hoard it forever.

Speaking of Contra Force, traded an extra copy I had for Mega Man 5 today. Pretty happy with that. MM games kick my ass so bad it's not even funny but at least it's playable. Contra Force is a f*cking turd.

^ So nice, I love this game so much and still have my one owner copy. :D
I consider Mega Man 5 a prized possession. I need to track down a box as mine did not survive but I do have my manual. The Mega Man games are the only NES games I want CIB, so far I only have #1(my original copy) and #6.

Nice. I'm a cart-only guy on NES, though I quite enjoy doing the aftermarket plastic cases for them to get some nice standardized artwork/spines/etc.

But MM5 is the only MM cart I don't have. One of the only well-known games at all that I don't have, at least as far as I'm concerned.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed

I got some stuff today at the fleamarket.

Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater PS2

True Crime Streets Of LA PS2

True Crime Streets Of LA PS2

$6.00 for all three of them.

I got a little excited for my next find, but it didnt work out like I thought it would.

At a distance I saw a whole bunch of gray and black games on a table. At first I thought I hit the motherload. but when I got closer I saw a whole bunch of sports games. :( About twenty or thirty of them.

Pretty much all of them. N64, SNES and Genesis: football, golf, baseball and basketball.

I ask the old guy selling there.... How much? '$5.00 each' he replied. I politely told the guy, "These are sports games, they aren't worth much. You can get at most $3.00 for them." And I was still being generous with my suggestion, just to be nice to him.

Guy looked at me funny and got a little mad. "Other people have been buying them for $5.00 over the weekend." He then left to attend other people.

But going through all of them I found two non-sport genesis games Pit fighter and Judge Dredd I held on to them and kept looking at his other wares.

Going through other boxes of stuff, I ended up finding for gameboy Caesars Palace and for Game gear Riddick Bowe boxing. So I added them to my little bundle.

I saw a different dude helping there as well, I figured he was the old guys son. So I made him an offer for all the games. I told him $10 for all four of them. He said yes! :)

I know it was a little tricky what I did. But oh well. They made money and I got to take them home to my hoard.

It also makes me wonder what else the guy had. He must have sold a lot of games already to justify that price. I must have missed out on good stuff over the weekend.

At gamestop with b2g1:

Megaman maverick hunter x(psp)
Spiderman 2(psp)
Epic mickey power of illusion

Megaman was free with the coupon so yay! At goodwill I got spongebob super sponge for ps1(first game I found that actually interested me so far so this is a win for now) for 2.12 with tax, case is cracked a tad bit and disc looks like it has some wear but otherwise decent.

Mega Man 5 gets crapped on a lot but it's got some really beautiful level graphics and is still better than a lot of NES games. It's easily the easiest game of the six on the NES (health and extra lives drop like candy) so maybe you'll end up liking it.

20.00 from craigslist. posted as a sega and listed at 40.00 but it didnt have controllers or a power cord and he let me talk him down. Genesis port fired up like a champ. the CD side boots no problem but just says reading disc in an infinite loop. soooo... anyone know much about these? is this something that can be fixed?

either way, im still pretty pleased for 20.00 to have a cool genesis backup if nothing else
