Ratchet and clank movie and remake

Post by darsparx »

So it seems that they're making a movie and remake for ratchet and clank, what is everyone's thought on this? I played a little of the series at a walmart back when it was originally came out but not as much as I would like...

Well I saw something about the movie and then all of a sudden after that they announced along with it they're doing a movie....wonder how people will tolerate the remake though

I played the future trilogy (the first 3 PS3 games in the series, though the second one was only released digitally in the US, we got a physical release over here).

Can't say I ever found the series to be any good. The platforming is basic at best, the level design is repetitive and the jokes fall flat imo. I do like the gun combat though and I would probably have liked the series more if it focused just on what it does right.

Because they are good games, and if Madagascar gets 2 stupid sequels, then Ratchet & Clank should get 1 movie.

Still sounds interesting to me since I kinda liked the series when it originally came out and was able to play it in stores. Still want to get the games for the series next month :-\

The 2nd & 3rd games in the series are ...honestly... 3D platforming masterpieces. I absolutely love Going Commando & Up Your Arsenal. So freaking awesome... and I will play them again in remakes if they come!
