That kicks ass. I bet the GOG version will run better on my PC.

And all this FFV talk reminds me... I finally bought the Super Famicom version the other day. The previous owner's save file: 80 hours!!!!!!!

GOG version versus PC DVD version? Why would that run better?

Crazy! My current run is at somewhere between 16 and 20 hours before the final boss, and I did all the non-super bosses and non-GBA content (even though I can't use most of the rewards from them).

Compatibility maybe? My physical version is XP/Vista and I recall it having a few issues on my comp. GOG has Win 7/8 compatibility.

That makes sense ... I think I've been digital so long now on PC I've started forgetting about how the DVD doesn't have the latest bits right from the get go.

I started playing The Witcher too actually, i have the Steam version though.

Its good to see that GOG is starting to get more modern games that will now be DRM free, like The Witcher 3.

I dont have The Witcher 2, but if i end up beating the 1st one, ill get a GOG copy for Witcher 2.
