Without knowing what Dreamcast games you've already played (possibly on other systems) I'd say this is an excellent list. How do you feel about Space Channel 5 though? And maybe drop Shanmue for Shenmue. I hear it's a better game all round.dunpeal2064 wrote:Half Life
Sonic Adventure
Shanmue
Ikaruga
Jet Grind Radio
Soul Calibur/DoA2
Resident Evil 2
Crazy Taxi
Rayman 2
Okay, revising my list a bit. Want to run with this dc kick I'm on, and have never really touched the library.
What last game should I add? Or, should I drop any for something else?

From what I can tell the inverted castle is pretty nonlinear and I'm guessing that certain bosses will be tougher if you try to fight them earlier and with lower levels.
I don't know who this Garamoth character is, guess I'll find out eventually.

The lack of a map in Zelda sure is a pain in the ass.

There are maps in Zelda though... Pretty rudimentary but they exist. And you have the overworld "radar" thing too. Similar games from the era give you much less to work with.

The overworld map is basically useless, I had to use the internet for the locations of dungeons two and three because I literally had ZERO idea of where to go and the world is so huge. Randomly, I the location to dungeon 9 and I always remembered the burning bush thing to enter dungeon 8.BoneSnapDeez wrote:There are maps in Zelda though... Pretty rudimentary but they exist. May finish off Final Fantasy 8 tonight, and we'll see where we go after that. Can't believe it's already June 9th -- when do we end this thing? The Autumn Equinox?

Re: Summer Games Challenge 2014
Since I don't think I will get to it this summer, I am thinking about replacing Final Fantasy Tactics (PS1/PSP) with Faxanadu (NES). Comments? Questions? Thoughts?
