So, I just put my new Halo statue on the piano in the living room. No one ever goes in there. I wonder how many days it'll take for anyone to notice....

Let the countdown begin!

In Northern NJ they were. Of the many locations I could count on 2 hands around 2000, many of them shuttered in 2005-2009. One such arcade had such a legacy there's an old thread about it on Digital Press as well as a video from a week before it closed in 2007, including the Crisis Zone where I 1cc'd it for 5.6 million.

Dammit, it's getting dusty in here

Dang didn't know "thrillville: off the rails" was released on so many platforms I only have partially played the wii version since I do own it...almost want to get either the psp or ds version so I can play it on the go in the future though >_>

Speaking of simulation games are there any decent games besides the roller coaster tycoon and school tycoon? I'm planning on getting those again and really want to play some good ones especially some more modern ones if possible(one's similar to ea's game on mobile doesn't count as "good" at all)

Yes those dance machines never made it over here. I think I saw a total of 4 of them or so. The last batch of new arcade cabinets we got were from '98 and '99, one was Crazy Taxi, and I think there was one that had Safari hunting where you drive a jeep and catch an animal, and I think there was a Time Cop or House of the Dead. I think there was also a set of F1 cars which were connected for playing in big teams as a race.

I just remembered, I want to play Area 51...

*sigh* I keep looking over and seeing my roller coaster tycoon case and wondering where the heck my disc is for that....if i knew where that is and had a keyboard I might find myself real busy for a little bit....I'm feeling nostalgic now that I finally dug up my pc games from when I was younger. Sadly though I realized something, I had way too many educational games as a kid:

- Mr Potato Head saves veggie valley
- outnumbered
- mathblaster ages 8-9
- cluefinders 4th grade *
- zoombinis mountain rescue *

* don't know where it is but i had it at one point

That is a really sad list but I know I had more of those edutainment games but can't remember the names

Though surprisingly i have risk II and civilization II. Now that is a big shock that i actually have the discs for those two, and really makes me want a keyboard for that pc now, I haven't played most of these in ages...
