Yeah, I was extremely pleased with how the whole thing turned out, and they got the most positive praise I could give without abusing the + key.KalessinDB wrote:Damn man, you got a steal and one HELL of an honest seller. You'd think normally that they would just cancel the sale if it was going that low (sad but true with the state of ebay these days)

um no, supply is finite and demand is high. And demand is not only about number of people looking for something, but also how much they are willing to pay for something (the perceived value).RCBH928 wrote: I know, but lets assume that 6 million OoT carts have been destroyed, there are still 2m carts out there. That is a lot! Here the supply should be waaay more than the demand.
Think of smartphone apps: the number of people (demand) wanting to buy them is huge, but their perceived value is so low that you get people not even willing to part with 99 cents.

Finally jumped into the gaming world of 2004 and bought an original DS.
New territory for me.

DS has one of the best game libraries of any system ever. Love it so much.
Re: Random Thoughts Thread
The only system I have more games for is the PC, and that's not really a fair comparison when I have games for it that date back to the 80's.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I just remembered that there was a Watch Dogs advert before the trailers when I saw Godzilla. That game is an 18 in the UK. It's strange because I can't recall the last time an 18 rated film was advertised before a 12A movie. In fact, I'm reasonably sure it isn't allowed (possibly what contributed to Dredd's low box office).
Point being: Games are still viewed as something for teenagers/kids. I've also seen Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed ads before 12A rated films.

Yeah stuff like Call of Duty is sold at places like Toys R Us here, which I always found odd.

It's a relic of when games were more kid friendly I suppose, if those times ever existed to begin with.
