That game shocked me. The Bruins cared, sure, but they didn't play like they did. Sloppy hockey. The Habs are hot. Too hot for my liking.

Speaking of, played a pick up game last night and got beat the hell up. High stick to the face, mid stick to my groin. I'm in a world of hurt but had an assist against kids half my age, so in the end it was a good, but short, game.

I was doing early morning work with SC on (as I prefer to do) and heard talk about the post game handshake that as mature as a kid in little league spitting in his hand before the shake.

OK, NYC vs LA for the Cup Final, kinda lame for me, and maybe most of you that live in between the coasts.

But gotta give credit to both teams!

I think Kings will hoist the cup after 6 games.

That first game was fan freaking tastic.

I have no dog in this fight, so I can simply enjoy the sport. And holy crap did both teams deliver the excitement.

One thing that I missed...Did you know who, who screwed up the game with new and dumb rules also change the crease rule? Not complaining at all just asking. The old rule was "No goal will be allowed if an opponent is in the goalie's crease" aka the blue zone. There was a King's goal when THREE LA players were in the crease and obvious blocking Lundqvist's vision. Have the rules changed?
