I don't know, I haven't really had any problems with my Retron. I wanted to have one unit that plays several platforms with HDMI output. The Retron accomplishes that for me and does a surprisingly decent job at that as well.

The convenience, space saving, and "modern" amenities make the $76 I paid for it worthwhile. As of now, I'm happy with the product and it seems that Hyperkin is at least actively supporting it with firmware updates. We will see how things go long term with the product.

With Hyperkin's poor customer Service Record they won't support it. They have moved on to the next flawed device that everyone will sheepishly buy completely ignoring the fact they're a shitty company
that makes shitty products.

I'm glad I decided not to get one, did my research and found the Retro Trio to be the better Machine.

To those stuck with one, It's not to late to return it. Hyperkin needs to go out of business before they Poison the market with more broken promises.

I'll still reserve judgement until I own one myself. Lack of homebrew compatibility doesn't bother me too much personally, all of my carts are official.

How exactly is his thing able to wipe battery-backed saves from a cart as some people are claiming?

I see you are back with your hate-filled and super insightful posts as always. Is there anything you don't try to act a fanboy about?

Man... there are some mixed reviews on that controller. A lot of (unexpected) people do seem to like though. Pat the NES Punk stated in his Completely Unnecessary Podcast that he was surprised by the controller and really liked the clicky stick. Guess it'll be something you'll have to try yourself to see if you like it or not.

^^^^

I'll be putting it through a lot once I get it on Wednesday. I just hope that maybe there will be another firmware update between now and then, because I am not going to play any games with save files until they fix that. I'm not going to lose any hard work.

I just don't like how thick it is. It's like holding a sandwich. I'll try it, but I'll probably be using original controllers, or just a SNES pad for everything

I see you're giant dick bag resorting to Ad Hominem. I am stating facts and consensus. Only people that are being fanboys are the people kissing Hyperkin's ass.
