Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Time to update the Holy Grails post?:

Should I make it #1???

edit:
Made this a little clearer to clarify that it has not yet sold for that amount.

I can't help but think we had something to do with this.

"Moreover, it made the top ten lists of the rarest video games for any system made." :)

But the game hasn't sold, he's just asking for that price, and telling everyone that he knows only 10 copies were made. Herein lies the error:

"Now we can debate this all day long but, again I was in the Defend Atlantis Contest, I know how many people I was competing against (9) others and myself ( 9+1=10 ) Do the Math!

He was competing in the finals against ten people, the top ten scorers on Atlantis II. The number of Atlantis II carts produced equal the number of perfect scores obtained in Atlantis I, and we know there were more than ten perfect scores if Imagic had to cut them down for the finals.

This cart won't sell. Not for that price, not for a 10th of that price, not even for 100th of that price. It'd be unprecedented.

So Atlantis II can stay intact on the list :) But if you're looking to change things, there's a few minor corrections I could make thanks to recent occurances. ;)

By the looks of it, he hasn't sold it yet, and I think he won't sell it either.
Just think about it. People barely make a million dollars in their life time(unless they're some extremely lucky bastard, like the person who owns mc donalds, with that kind of money, you can control the world...)
Even if I was a billionaire, I would not buy this. The Highest I would ever pay for this game(if I had the money) would be 20k usd. He also, supposedly, has an awful eBay feed... So no, don't put it at #1, it's fine where it's at

It's not even worth nearly as much as that.

And of course, "Holy Grail" entails the item being widely sought after, so a price a mere one person would (foolishly) pay couldn't dethrone the NWC cart and all of its history. I stand by my order!

And I thought the price of a NWC cart was expensive. Like SV said, no way its ever going to sell.

Wow, that's ALMOST as much as what PS3s are going for on ebay nowadays.

Speak of the devil:

Nintendo World Championships Gold now on eBay

With a much more respectable Buy it Now price. I'm pretty sure I know who's selling it...and this has to be the second most mint cart I've ever seen. A few years from now, when the price multiplies, people will be killing themselves for not getting this. :)
