Been working a lot this week so haven't put much time into Star Tropics, but it seems like that game might be a royal pain in the ass as the game goes on. I'll try to put some more time into it tomorrow.

In the inverted castle of SotN now... I didn't realize that the castle literally just flipped over. I feel kinda dizzy.

Spent a bit more time with Final Fantasy VI tonight. I'm right around Mt. Kolts, so I didn't get too far. Spent most of my time wandering around South Figaro and grinding. Really, I just wandered around outside because I needed some Gil so that I could upgrade my weapons/armor and buy some relics. The level increases were just a bonus.

Re: Summer Games Challenge 2014
Finally got started with my Summer List (moving didn't leave me too much game time ><). I decided I would first go with Half-Life, which I have played before, but only a little bit. Not sure why I picked it first... just random choice
Anyways, I only had enough time to get through the first two chapters but so far I find:
1) The plot is reaaallyy silly: Yeah I know I'm not far in, but I find it funny how some scientists warn other scientists not to do something, they do it anyway, and they all died. It doesn't sound as silly just typing it out, but it feels silly to me. ><;
2) Freeman moves really odd: Like he's on ice all the time. It's going to take me a while to get used to that (I doubt I got used to it last time I played it though ha). I sense many platforming deaths ahead. Many, many platforming deaths. (unless there's an option to change that, but I just kind of just assumed it was an old game thing)
Also I'm really bad at FPSs and platformers in general so I set the difficulty to Easy. No shame.

Half Life
Sonic Adventure
Shanmue
Ikaruga
Jet Grind Radio
Soul Calibur/DoA2
Resident Evil 2
Crazy Taxi
Rayman 2
Okay, revising my list a bit. Want to run with this dc kick I'm on, and have never really touched the library.
What last game should I add? Or, should I drop any for something else?
