It'll be $20 before you know it. I'll be trying it out at some point, provably whenever I get a PS4.
From what I have read, my hopes are nto high for that one despite its interesting premise. I will just have to play Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective instead.
I remember seeing a gameplay of that game last year, totally forgot about it and with reason i barely see any mention of this game.
If it follows the same luck that L.A Noire this game will be dirt cheap.

Yeah I figured that one would be worth the wait for a price drop(but watch dogs on ps4 was not, so worth the 59.99 for me :? ). I just kinda figured since I liked playing ghost trick that, MSS might be a worthy game in the same area to play as a ghost game.

Has anyone else played "The Witch and The Hundred Knight?"

I really wanted to play it since I bought it at launch, and I'm about maybe 3 hours into it and I'm kind of getting bored. I thought it would be an awesome Zelda like adventure game for the PS3, and it kind of is, but it's kind of boring. It is a NIS title that wasn't probably meant for American audiences. So maybe I'm just being picky?

Has anyone else played it? Am I missing something? Does it get better?

*edit* - I have read reviews online, and I'm aware of what critics think. Before anyone tells me to go "Google" a review, I'm interested to know what the Racketboy community thinks, and maybe discuss it a bit further. Sorry for the notes, but I'd rather like to avoid some "Just Google it" flame war.

I thought it looked awesome, but the ukewarm review took it off my high priority want list. I will probably pick it up at some point, however, and I just hope that it does not become a collector's item in the meantime.

I played it. Not all that great. I actually gave up about 15 hours in. The story seemed to come to a conclusion at one point then just went off on another "new" story line. It felt jumbled and pointless with a high degree of wash, rinse, repeat.......

I was surprised by the low ratings. The idea seems great, graphics look professional, it looks like the work for a triple A title in addition that it is published by Square Enix. Dunno what went wrong there.

My only guess is the rushed the game to completion. I think it would have helped a lot if they kept working on it and just released it as next gen. title exclusive.

Yeah you're just making it sound more and more like a game that I should wait until I can either find it really really cheap or use a gamestop coupon to make it super cheap(since I should have more than enough points next month to get a decent coupon)

Edit: also just because I'm thinking about it and it's starting to seem like soon I might need to...what's the best hdd for ps3? I want to upgrade the hdd in mine since 320gb doesn't seem anywhere near enough with all I've downloaded or at least it might not last a year or two with that size. Especially with all the freebies I've already downloaded where some of them are 1gb+ each(most of the time)

Far as I know, the only real limit is the 9.5mm (or less) height restriction. Right now, for 2.5" SATA drives, that'll mean a 1TB is the highest capacity you can go for. There are 1.5 and 2TB drives out there, but they're in the 15mm form factor and thus won't fit.

Beyond that, I don't feel that pushing for performance makes much sense when picking one. The system ships with a 5400rpm drive, and the chipset in it is only SATA-I.

I put a 1TB Samsung drive in mine (this one) and it's worked nicely.

Swapping it before you get much data on the system would be preferable, since the data transfer can take a while. Easy to do, but, slow.

Don't you like have to buy 2 HDDs one for ps3 and one for backing up ?

Any way, I would hate to install a lot of games on my ps3 because the way to navigate the game library (vertical menu) is a pain to use. You just have to sit there scrolling up and down . I also have a feeling that if I install too many games I will start noticing performance issues like hiccups and freezes.

The system doesn't freeze if you fill up the HDD. Also, if you start scrolling on a large list, it speeds up very quickly. You can go from one end of a list to another within about 3 seconds.
