No shame in it...I've been listening to VH1 every morning for quite a while. The videos are terrible*, but the music isn't all garbage. Lots of garbage, but not all of it.
*Old dude rant.
Videos have mostly always been pretty subpar, but we've had some standouts. My big issue is that no one is playing instruments when instruments are shown. Maybe I don't get it, but if there is a band in a video playing, and there is a piano being played, why isn't there a pianist with the band? And if a saxophone is being played, why is a trumpet being shown?
I understand artistic license, but most videos seem like the director thinks "Eh. Their all dumbasses. They won't care".
And I don't "care", but it just seems like an insult to intelligence.

I've been on a major 80's new wave kick recently for some reason, so 'Welcome to the Pleasuredome' by Frankie Goes to Hollywood has been my jam this past little while.

Don't know why but I'm listening to Hallelujah by the true JB(jeff buckley). This song is amazing no matter how many times I listen to it...

Any one into Led Zeppelin?
The first three albums were recently remastered and released. They were apparently remastered (at least in part) by Page. I read a review for them from an apparent audiophile and long time Zeppelin fan, so I have a little faith in them. When I hear "remastered" I fear that they're just louder and not actually remastered from original studio recordings. So I'm pretty interested to hear them.
You can get each of the three albums as just a single CD release or a double CD "deluxe" version which contains previously unreleased live tracks (which are apparently pretty good performances). They also released LPs and some kind of super deluxe set which contains the CDs, LP, and a book or something. I'm just gonna get the CDs, probably the deluxe versions with the live CD since they're only a few bucks more each.
Apparently the rest of the albums will eventually follow.
Any one else into this?
