Re: Too early to start talking about rare/valuable Wii games
So this is my tentative list of the remaining Wii games I'd like to procure. How does everyone feel about the Resident Evil titles on this list? I have 4 for the Wii but that is it.
Castle of Shigimia III
MLB Power Pros
MLB Power Pros 2008
Angry birds star wars/trilogy (to get down the line inexpensively)
Boom Blox
Boom Blox Bash Party
Gunblade NY and LA Machine guns
Links Crossbow (I'd like to procure the pheripheral too)
A boy and his blob
Endless ocean
Endless ocean blue world
Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles
Resident Evil: Umbrella chronicles
Resident Evil archives: 1 & 0
Jerry Rice and Nitrus dog football (hell yeah)

Also, the Resident Evil games are solid. The Gamecube ports are just that, but the rail shooters are a lot of fun. If you enjoy them, I would suggest picking up the House of the dead games too.
.....
Finally, you have some great games on your want list, the vast majority of which are insanely cheap at Gamestop right now. ($50 would go a very long way towards completing your collection.) Happy hunting!

Thanks - which of those RE games are rail shooters? Those are actually the ones I'd really like to target. I have House of the Dead 2&3 (I'll pull my list tonight and share!).

Oh man House of the Dead Overkill is frigging fantastic! I hope you have that too. It has hilarious dialogue with over the top violence and a grindhouse movie feel. Makes you feel like your playing an old zombie movie from the 70's and 80's, highly recommended.

RE: The Umbrella Chronicles and RE: The Darkside Chronicles are the rail shooters. I have nto yet beaten either one, but they are both a lot of fun. (They also have great graphics.)retrosportsgamer wrote:Thanks - which of those RE games are rail shooters?

I grabbed the PS3 version (did it have added content?) actually - but yes. I loved the arcade games back in the day - the dialogue is awesome.ninjainspandex wrote:Oh man House of the Dead Overkill is frigging fantastic! I hope you have that too. Excellent - and since I have RE 1 for the GC, no real reason to pull up that archive. I'll have to check on if I have Zero for anything else as well.prfsnl_gmr wrote:.RE: The Umbrella Chronicles and RE: The Darkside Chronicles are the rail shooters. I have beat the Resident Evil Wii railshooters multiple times. Great graphics, very fun, plenty of unlockable weapons too. The House Of The Dead Overkill game on Wii is also a LOT of fun, at least the first time through. But I don't think from a gameplay perspective it's as good as the RE ones. Also, don't miss Dead Space Extraction, it's pretty awesome. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Space:_Extraction
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

Here's a look at my collection - if you see anything I'm missing that would fit my collection, please feel free to share.
