Wife got me an early birthday present today. I came home to a shiny new Vita 2000 Borderlands 2 bundle.

...and now I'm off to sell the Borderlands 2 code.

I'm thinking of getting a grip for my Vita. Anyone have experience with either of these? Can't decide between the two. I like the idea of the triggers, but the longer grips might be more comfortable.

I have both of the the attachments. The trigger grips were giving me severe cramping while playing Borderlands 2. Therefore, I purchased the CTA grips and they are a lot more comfortable.

I've been using this grip for over a year and am very pleased with it:

I don't know if it will fit the new LCD style Vitas though.

I'm really enjoying the visual-novel-pointnclick-thingy genre a whole lot. Dangan Ronpa is just delightful.

For whatever reason the soundtrack reminds me of Ape Escape.

Monokuma is also the best not-teddybear teddybear character I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing.

Well if you're going to play P4G next then you'll be encountering another not-teddybear but really is kind of a teddybear in some ways...character.

Two things with the VITA:

1) for me the VITA takes priority for multi-platform releases. In other words if game were released on both the 3DS and VITA, I'd buy it for the latter. This held true with the PSP as well during its hay day. Same goes for downloadable games too.

2) I was speaking to a friend recently who gravitated towards iOS gaming lately and we thought of certain games that would work wonders on that larger screen.

The World Ends With You was one we talked about as full blown release.

Epic can throw the Infinity Blade trilogy on one card and sell it that way.

Earlier games that were related to big console titles like the Mass Effect and Deadspace games. Those last two can be downloadable games with bumped up graphics, charge $5 or so and call it a day.

Just in case you didn't know, the sequel to this game is slated to come stateside in English on September 2, 2014. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danganronp ... ye_Despair

Also, two more visual-novel-pointnclick-thingy genre type games you can download to your Vita:

Good times were had by all.

I enjoyed Corpse Party. It's a PSP game but only on PSN. Not really a "Pointclick thingy" but it's basically just a story driven game with a 16bit aesthetic where you walk around, talk, and examine things.

I need Danganronpa 2 right now BTW.
