stop eating at chains, people... they as a rule make ethnic all food to the lowest common denominator and with the least amount of care and expertise. If you could reasonably work there in food prep by following some list of instructions about combining stock, standardized ingredients, you probably don't want to eat there.

I don't see why good food can't be simply prepared.dsheinem wrote:both are shitflex wood wrote:Olive Garden>Chipotle

it can, but the ingredients matter quite a bitMrPopo wrote:I don't see why good food can't be simply prepared.dsheinem wrote:both are shitflex wood wrote:Olive Garden>Chipotle

in my experience, a simple taco from an authentic mexican place or pasta marinara from a real italian joint or a burger from an independent bar and grill will be better than Taco Bell, Sabarro, and Applebee's every time.

Correct; if you're actually sourcing your ingredients like someone might do at home rather than getting them shipped to you from corporate then things turn out better.dsheinem wrote:it can, but the ingredients matter quite a bitMrPopo wrote:I don't see why good food can't be simply prepared.dsheinem wrote:both are shit

Problem was that when I found out last night, customer service for Stamps.com was down until the morning. First thing this morning I let them have it and they are giving me a full refund, closing my account and apologized to me.Xeogred wrote:Stamps.com does seem oddly fraudulent. They tried to charge me once too for some monthly fee but I went after that instantly and took care of it. To be frank I think you should be way more aggressive about such things in the future, I make sure I know where all my pennies are officially going at all times.
The job interview went great, but I won't find out anything for a few days.

Ugh... Kit made me eat at Olive Garden recently. It was absolutely terrible, just as I thought it would be. It tasted like they fried up some green tomatoes instead of Eggplant and just dumped a can of tomato sauce on top of it.
Puppies are gone! I can sleep!
Puppies will be back at 7am tomorrow. They should just let the mother take care of them.

I still don't get the hate for olive garden....yes a true italian place is always better but from what I've had of them I've never had anything that tasted horrible(even pizza hut isn't half bad from time to time). I'd still rather eat authentic(can't bring myself to eat taco bell ever...that place should be renamed taco hell for all I care....) mexican if I can help it because it's always better but dang is it more expensive
