Hate being that guy again - what's the deal w/Pikmin 3, is physical or digital...this free copy I keep hearing about?Frag Mortuus wrote:I just ordered my copy from Toys R Us since they had the 40% off additional Wii U game deal going on. So for $95 with tax I got Mario Kart 8, Sonic Lost Worlds, and will be getting Pikmen 3 when I register my copy of MK8. Not a bad deal at all.
Can't wait to play it.

If you register Mario Kart 8 before July you get to choose one of a few free Nintendo titles to download for free. I already have the good ones except Pikmin 3.

On the one hand, it makes me sad how few of you already owned Pikmin 3, when it's so awesome.
On the other hand, I'm delighted about how many of you are going to be able to see how awesome Pikmin 3 is.

meh, I just can't get into digital gaming where a physical is available. a reluctant pass - I do plan to pick up pikmin 3 physically though.
Re: Mario Kart 8 Thread
I adore the game for a dozen reasons, but I wanna say I'm kinda blown away by how freaking gorgeous it is.
For example, Moo Moo Meadows on MKWii is one of the most visually boring tracks in that game. The facelift it has received in MK8 is just stunning.
Nintendo has dropped a Purdy Bomb on the Mushroom Kingdom.

I wouldn't play it, wouldn't enjoy it knowing it's their physically, just how I am, a minority view I know, but how it is. I've already given it away so it's moot now.Jmustang1968 wrote:But it is free. @sev, probably in a week or two, still unlocking stuff w/my kids, but def. want to go at it w/you guys.
I think BMF said it, but the Mount Wario course is amazing - all 3 laps being different and that last lap is just so fun.
Re: Mario Kart 8 Thread
I would play online too over the next few weeks - add me (dsheinem) and let me know
