There wasn't as many made.

I only paid £10 for my copy of MvC on DC about 6 or 7 years ago. I can't remember, it was around the time that Sega stopped manufacturing them so all the retailers were jumping ship and trying to get rid of stock. Got some amazing bargains back then (considering what they're worth now).

I got Marvel vs Capcom 2 for dreamcast for around $50 and thats the main reason I bought my DC,I wanted it for my ps2,but it's not worth it,it's around $80 to over $100,and I heard the Ps2 one freezes or something.
