Chicago is one of my favorite cities that I've visited. On the other hand, there is just something missing to this game. I'm not quite sure what it is but it is not hooking me in the same way that Infamous Second Son did. I'll need to spend more time with it to see if my opinion changes.

Oh and I'm not sure what the big deal is about the driving as it seems fine for me.
I think Ubisoft was trying to pull a "GTA" , and to differentiate themselves they probably added a sci-fi/blade-runner kind of thing to it. Even though the game itself is not bad, I think Ubisoft failed at their attempt.

My only guess is that in the sequel they will fix all errors with the first, and get what they wanted, but can it be a GTA rival? we will have to wait and see..

How big a role does stealth play in Watch Dogs? I'm not really interested in playing it if it's full of shoot outs

Also, anyone know if you can stealth play all the way through Wolfenstein The New World Order? I heard stealth plays a big part in the game, but I'd like to know if it's always an option, as that would make me much more interested in playing it.

I would like to play more stealth games but there are so few options out there. I'm tired of balls to the wall shooters and would like to play some more strategic, cerebral action adventures.

You can't use stealth everywhere, but the places you can't make sense from a story perspective. You can use stealth for the majority of the game, though in general it does involve a lot of stealth killing; the game isn't really set up for just sneaking around and not engaging anything.

Let's put it this way, I suck at shooting so I've successfully made it through what I think is a huge chunk of act 1 by just hacking cameras to get what I need without going in unless the shooting was nesscary(e.g. a trap that turned into a ambush which so far has only happened twice and somehow I managed to make it out of the first one and stuck on the second one right now). This stealth is making me truly remember OoT's castle stealth scene to some extent except instead of getting tossed out you're slaughtered here XD It seems like every time I've tried to go and weed a few people out though and then try to shoot the rest I get down to the last 3-4 guys and get killed somehow. I'm about to give up on the current mission and try to do some side quest grinding

I'm terrible at stealth but there is something immensely satisfying about causing a blackout and running in quickly, hacking the computer, and getting out like it never happened.

That's how I roll. 8)

Yeah, most of the time in Watch Dogs you can be pretty stealthy. The game gives you the option to be 'all guns blazing', but it's far more fun to take the stealthy route. The developers make sure to cater to both audiences, but I feel they make stealth a far more rewarding experience.

WatchDogs mini review:
It is a barely average game. Story is dumb. Stealth part later in the game is broken. No ability to hide bodies when you knock people out. If you hack something and cause an explosion people will magically know it is you. This I cannot figure out, if I stealthily hack something from a distance how in the hell do they know I did it??? Then call cops, who kill you at light speed then game over. If you are on a mission where you start it with a cut scene then enjoy sitting through it again. So far I found know way to skip them either.

You can literally complete half of watchdogs missions without stepping foot in the facilities. you can basically jump from camera to camera in an area and hack all of the objectives you need to :P. The enemy detection system is also horrible as long as you use the silencer you can clear a whole area without being noticed and without breaking a sweat. It takes about 2 seconds of being in the open for the guys to notice you and they immediately forget you the second you duck into cover. Dead bodies also only results in the guards walking over to them looking around for 2-3 seconds then returning to their scripted patrol. I actually tried completing the majority of the game with stealth melee take downs but there is no real reward for doing so and what should be non lethal take downs still count as kills just with slightly boosted point rewards.

Also later in the game you get the Black out ability which basically blinds everyone in the environment for 10-15 seconds making it easy to run around them or escape.

Here is a video I recorded where I literally take out 4 people standing right next to each other without any of them even reacting :P.
