darsparx wrote:So I kinda wanted to post this question, since most new games are 59.99. When do you think this cycle will finally break for the ps4's new games? (unless it's indie, or digital I've only seen 59.99 in stores for a new game...no matter what it is)
Many of the PS4 titles have gone on temporary sales already. Battlefield 4, Killzone: Shadowfall, and Knack have all been discounted at one point or another.
Pinball Arcade (disc) was priced at $40 I believe. The EA NBA Game was $50 at launch I think.
And yeah, many of the launch titles have been sub-$30/$35 at least once or twice if you hit the right retailer at the right time.
Well then I may just need to pay attention more since it just seems whenever a new game comes on for a new system still for some odd reason the prices are always a flat rate either 59.99 or 49.99 which is odd to me...

Anyone going to try out the Destiny beta? I figure I'll play it on ps3 to see if it's a game I could get into and if so possibly consider a PS4 this fall to play it.
Also being that I'm fresh off watching the first two movies in the Aliens franchise the game Alien: Isolation has me iinterested. From what I've read and seen they're going for a slow paced horror setup which is right up my alley and sounds sweet. Hope it turns it out good.

It can't be any worse than Aliens: Colonial Marines
"You know, as much flak as that game gets, it really wasn't THAT bad..."
...And then I actually started remembering my playthrough of it. The overpowered partner was what killed it for me and turned the entire game into a joke. Die, Colonial Marines!
So... anyone grab Watch Dogs? I started playing it the other night and it's not bad. On one hand, I really love the idea of "hacking" and the location is awesome. Chicago is one of my favorite cities that I've visited. On the other hand, there is just something missing to this game. I'm not quite sure what it is but it is not hooking me in the same way that Infamous Second Son did. I'll need to spend more time with it to see if my opinion changes.
Oh and I'm not sure what the big deal is about the driving as it seems fine for me.

Game is ok, but not living up to the hype. So far the story is:
CHEESY
