I think popular sentiment is that Vsav was the best game in the series and while yes you could play as Donovan, Phobos and Pyron the system was more watered down with less variety and greater balance issues.

However, I am all for it if anyone else is. It's not like someone can say they don't own it  since they are both bundled in DS:R.

Speak up people! :)

Night Warriors doesn't have a turbo setting, does it?

Bonus tonight- We get to discuss the future of Fight Night, as DS3 was the last game in the rotation!

Since there seems to be a steep Capcom bias in this thread, in terms of actual turnout... Do we shift to a more SF/Capcom 2D fighter type theme, or would you (everyone) like to see continued Fighter diversity? Do we want to continue weekly?

Plenty to discuss! Feel free to bring up any ideas or concerns in the thread 8)

My two 8=>:

-SF4, 3S, and VSav seem to be the most successful as far as turnout goes.

-HDR and Guilty Gear have god awful lobby systems and are not useful for Fight Night purposes.

-Tekken is ghost town status.

-Injustice was somewhat successful? I know there was distate for the lobby system but from what I read it seemed folks showed and matches were played.

There are still a bunch of FGs we could try adding into the rotation, including: SCV, Skullgirls, BB:CP, P4A, and MvC: Origins, to name a few. Perhaps a re-gauging of interest for games not previously listed is in order?

Also, the possibility of running games on Steam should be discussed.

I still believe in the weekly format.

Weekly format is fine by me, my availability still is sporadic.

Steam is a no go for me for now, though others might like it.

Skullgirls lobby is miserable...still, not an option for fight night imo.

I'm partial to capcom / 2D, but will play anything if there is enough interest.

Weekly is fine and I show up when I can.

Steam would be great... lets get that pc setup for Mike already.

I will usually play any game as long as others show up and are into it.

Skullgirls' online sucks unless they have improved over the years.

Do we have any comments from those who have found our previous rotation unworthy of joining in on? How about those on the cusp of joining in? Anyone need something added or subtracted to make this worth spending a few hours button mashing with us?

As far as the stream returning. That will be happening soon, just got a new rig set up. It will just be non-essential for communication, as I tried to make it before.

As for the rest, I'll converse with everyone tonight and come up with a new list to re-gauge interest in various games. Might as well toss Namco 3D out the window :P
and focus on Capcom/2D games that have been mentioned through the months. Injustice was a pretty low turnout, just Ara and a few locals followed by no one.

SF4, (i'm thinking) especially since Ultra is out soon, playing this will probably be happening on an every-other-game-in-rotation type deal. Where we will be playing it a lot. 3S has a lot of love on these board, so I wanna keep that boat going too.

From there we shall see what games are called for and I will post a new list tonight.

Does anyone have any experience/info on MvC Origins online? I would be down for that if it is decent.

Also, how is SSF ll: HDR? I have this as well, and have always loved the original.

MvC Origins apparently shares its netplay stuff with the same backend as 3S and VSav, so take that for what you will.

HDR is, well, umm, interesting. I enjoy playing it, but the netcode is somewhat iffy at times and the lobby system is absolute poopage.
