Ha, I feel the same way about DBZ. I could never make an argument that it is the best anime, or even really that good of one, but damn do I love it.

Yu Yu I have a soft spot for too, but I've only ever caught randoms of the show. If you haven't, you should try the Mega Drive YYH fighting game. Its pretty darn good!

If you have a Blu-Ray player, I'd highly, highly, highly recommend picking up the Blu-Ray remaster of Yu Yu. They did an amazing job with it, especially because I think Justin Cook, the voice actor for Yusuke, is a bigwig at Funimation now (I like to think it was this wonderful passion project for him :p). It's. Beautiful.

I'm not really an Anime fan, it's not that I dislike it, but have never really gotten into it. However, I started watched Attack on Titan on Netflix and freaking love it. I'm only about 5 episodes in, but think it's really cool.

In the 90's it was a lot harder to get into these sorts of things. Suncoast was my savior and allowed me to get into anime and giant monster movies. If it wasn't for that store, I would never had gotten into Godzilla as much as I did. This is the only place I could find random anime as well.

Of course, that went really well sometimes (sarcasm) since at my store there was also hentai VHS tapes mixed in with anime VHS tapes since back then there was a lot of people who didn't know that anime and hentai were two different things... myself included early on. Some really weird ones I watched. Not throw up weird but strange. I remember one I got randomly was about a girl who was able to power up a mech by having an orgasm, it was a really strange OVA.

Oh just wait until the end of the season, it gets even better. I started watching that one, one day a few months ago and somehow ended up on episode 10...I had to stop, since it was like "no, no I need to stop I have homework to do"

And that is the main problem I have with the series, it just stops at the end of the season. Its like we make the cake and finally are allowed to eat it then it is taken away from us before we can have a bite. Of course, I totally understand if they have a second season and will retract this statement but there hasn't been anything yet or a hint of one with only movies coming out which is just a retelling of the first season. Granted it is a huge hit I'm sure it will get a second season but still, that is the main problem with the series RIGHT NOW.
