What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Rode my bike to Avon today.

:( A few places weren't hiring. A few of those just not at the moment.

:) Got a few possible leads. One is Kitty Hawk Kites, but I gotta apply online. Another is this place near Kitty Hawk Kites, and with my name and e-mail address they'll contact me if they need more information (work history, skills, et al), and near that place is a surf shop I may or may not go through with since most of the things I'd have to do include dealing with a lot of the services they offer (kiteboarding, et al, none of which I have any experience whatsoever with).

:D Got my phone back from my brother...

 Still no minutes on it.

 My dad's in jail again until Monday. Don't ask since I don't really know any other details.

The real issue is you said "again".

Got some crap news today. Is what it is and time to trudge forward

Hopefully a 3-day weekend of nice weather will improve spirits.

:D Went to the lakefront today and walked beside the water. It was a short trip, but my daughter loved watching the fish swim around.

:D Found a Godzilla toy which was seemingly mispriced. Got a 43" Godzilla for next to nothing, and my daughter is having a ball with it. She has some of my older Godzilla toys out and has them all battling it out.

Yeah that sucks, never fun realizing that you made that mistake doing a purchase especially if it's groceries

Like most teenagers, you are waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy over-thinking this. If you want to ask a girl out on a date, just do it. Say, "Hey! I'm going to see Godzilla this weekend, and I have an extra ticket. Do you want to go with me?" If she accepts, great! If she declines, just ask someone else . "Spilling your guts to a certain girl" might seem a little weird, however, and might dissuade her from going out with you. (Just imagine how you would feel if someone did it to you.)
I'll second this. That impulse you have to pour out your heart and say how much you love her and how she makes your world a better place is just going to freak her out. Ask her on a date, give her a compliment, if it goes well ask her out on another date. As time goes on you'll say more nice things to her and she'll say nice things to you and you'll have what you want.
And, I now think I shouldn't say anything.

:) / :( - ended up getting a little over a extra hour of work today because of not having a guy that had to go take care of his kid who got jumped(guy slapped the kid and took his sneakers)...though it went pretty fast...one minute it was 3am next thing I knew it was 4:30 and some weird early bird workers were coming in ha ha

Yeah, after about the 7/8 hour mark, it all feels the same. I actually love getting 16 hour shifts with OT.

Yeah it was a 8.78 hour shift .2 of a hour longer than wednesday night  Don't bug me as long as I'm getting hours and making money....I still have yet to remember to ask them what I'm getting paid per hour...I know it's a good deal more than i've been making but none of them are near the desk where it would be and are busy at the time... (curse you memorial day weekend!)
