What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
@luke still it's a nice beach to go to at least once a year, though I usually stay next door in garden city which isn't much better by your standards but it's still a nice beach as long as you avoid certain parts it... though I'm still not a "beach" person myself either
- tried pulling a all-nighter so I could sleep this afternoon, and it didn't work....just my luck, if only I'd been able to focus on playing games on my tv. Seems like lately whenever I don't have anything but the games going I can focus for like 30 minutes then I feel the urge to switch games but I don't know what I want to switch to

Ticked: writer's block...or rather writer's fatigue. need to light a fire, all out of kindling.
Smile: beautiful weather, long weekend

I just shook myself free of a long case of writer's block. Of course, this is the weekend where I'm gonna go get hammered all weekend with my cousin. GOODBYE PRODUCTIVE BRAIN CELLSdsheinem wrote:Ticked: writer's block...or rather writer's fatigue. need to light a fire, all out of kindling.

See, "relaxing" for me is either sleeping or doing something that provides a rush like performing stand up or bungee jumping. Sitting in the sun is all the beach is to me, and unlike most people, I don't dig it. Not to go on an Anakin rant, but I don't like sand, I don't like being filthy, I don't like ocean water, and I don't like sitting around.darsparx wrote:@luke still it's a nice beach to go to at least once a year, though I usually stay next door in garden city which isn't much better by your standards but it's still a nice beach as long as you avoid certain parts it... though I'm still not a "beach" person myself either![]()

1. This Guys Addresses is Massive and exceeds the address limits for shipping.
2. Even though this sale was completed through GSP and I only opted out 3 days after the sale they may have simply put my item out of their system thus leaving me screwed. Rep said it wasn't showing up as a GSP item but he could see where GSP was preventing me from accessing invoices and shipping labels
So basically looks like I will have to get the guy to shorten his address, opt back in to GSP, and do a BIN listing and resell the item to the guy and see if that works.

I get where you're coming from with regards to going to the beach to sun yourself. I'd rather go to a local pool for an hour, swim, then come back home and do something engaging.Luke wrote:See, "relaxing" for me is either sleeping or doing something that provides a rush like performing stand up or bungee jumping. My college GF (who wasn't a wild party person) described it as a tourist trap that was batshit terrible during spring break. I don't blame you.Luke wrote:They're going to Myrtle Beach.

I don't like public water either.MrPopo wrote: I get where you're coming from with regards to going to the beach to sun yourself. I'd rather go to a local pool for an hour, swim, then come back home and do something engaging.
And when living in Eastern NC everyone is all "WTF? You don't like the beach?" and my answer is "I like it for fishing".

You people are crazy. Beach = heaven. Granted when I go to the beach my extended family rents out a block of condos, and since we all grew up together it is like a week long super family reunion with lots of goofing off, swimming, and gaming.
