Chance that some Wii titles may survive Server Shutdown
As all of you know on May 20th the Wii servers were shutdown. It turns out that the reason they servers were being closed was that Gamespy, the online server company that the Wii relied heavily on, is closing its doors after 14 years. As of today 5/23/14 at 1:00 A.M. EST, there are still Wii games that remain online. All CoD Wii games except World at War are still working online. It turns out that World at War is the only CoD game who's online server was maintained by Gamespy. It is possible that Activision owns and runs the servers for the other CoD Wii games which could be why they are still working today. Nintendo was very vague as to what was actually happening. It is possible that they meant that their first party games would cease to have online capabilities but the service would remain active but not maintained, much like the PS2. If they were to completely shut down the service then that would mean that Netflix, Hulu, and the eShop would also stop working. Only time will tell what the fate of the remaining online games is, but for now go enjoy your CoD Wii games for at least a little while longer!
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)
Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping!

Yeah it's a little sad that they had to end it, I'm still hoping that we get someone who figures out a way to get the games back online. Even though I never really did use the online features often it would've been a nice thing to have for whenever I did finally find people to play with
Just gotta hope they keep the eshop open for quite a few more years. There are titles i would love to purchase on there to tide me over until I can get a n64.
