Ack in NYC

Post by Ack »

Hey guys, I'm going up to New York next week for a couple of days(Sunday, May 25 - Wednesday, May 28). Originally I didn't think I would have any spare time, but it's looking like I might have more than I thought to just hang out in NYC. I've been before and done a lot of the big stuff. So this time I figured why not try to check out the game stores or possibly get lunch with some of you guys if I can swing it. I'll have to verify my shifting schedule, but hopefully I can hang out with a few of you knuckleheads for a bit.

What's the deal, are you gonna get your hoodie out of storage for this trip or what?

Nah, just visiting my stepbrother. I was under the impression we'd have a full schedule, but apparently not.

Just as long as he doesn't have you help him move any water heaters I guess.

It is a short distance out of the city, but it you have the opportunity, you should go to Digital Press Videogames. It is an amazing store.

If this thread title were a sitcom, I would watch it.

If you end up in SoHo could you snag me a couple of T-shirts from Uniqlo? It's right on east Broadway between Canal st and Houston.

As for suggestions on places to go, I'm not of much good since my time there was just helping my sister move and didn't get to meet up with any of my friends that live there.

If you want to explore some crazy old subway tunnels though head to the freedom tunnels in Harlem, 125th and Broadway. That's about all I got to check out when I was there but I love "urban exploring."
