Re: Racketeer Weekly Fight Nights: Resurrection!
Good matches, all.
I was bad; gotta start playing this so I can put up a decent fight next time.

Re: Racketeer Weekly Fight Nights: Resurrection!
TSTR surprised me, everyone says he sucks at FG's, so wasn't ready for him to do well w/Morrigan.
Donnie, you were ok, you're Bishoman and Victor were both solid.
Cha Cha's Q Bee is pretty good, and his Jedah was just mean - I couldn't get a handle on him at all.
Noise went on a roll w/Sasquatch, which was really surprising cuz he didn't do anything special offensively, or defensively, just sorta had people walk into throws repeatedly - really unimpressed tbh.
I was def. the worst tonight - haven't played since noise and I played about 2 months ago and just couldn't get a feel for anyone really.

Re: Racketeer Weekly Fight Nights: Resurrection!
I think everyone was trying to wrap their heads around this one.
It's so close to SF, yet... not. I've spent the most time w/ Night Warriors; Donovan is my main guy in that one.

Pretty right on mike. I won a bunch of times thinking that i should not have.
Re: Racketeer Weekly Fight Nights: Resurrection!
lol it was good times for sure. This game's execution can be soulcrushing at times, especially online, but I still love messing about in it.
I thought foxhound's Victor was most difficult to face out of everyone, gave me lots of scares. TSTR was really aggressive with Ryuiggan, which allowed him early success against people trying to figure out stuff they learned long ago
, Mike's 8yr old is way better than him at DS3 and Noise's succubi were solid.
TSTR, advice from the SCV afterparty:
Obviously aside from being still new to the realm of 3D, you just have to get into a movement mindset. SCV is more about terrain control and recognizing openings for punishing.
Natsu things to work on:
3KKK/3KK~wind roll(BK+direction)- This is a great pressure tool, her 3K is mid, tracks and has a fast start up. The first 2 hits are guaranteed and the 3rd if you finish the string knocks down. However after the first 2 hits you can cancel into wind roll, which gives her amazing options and leaves her in a full crouch recovery state. This allows you to go into wsA or wsK easily. wsA is +4 on block and is a great pressure tool to continue pressure strings or a throw set up, if you feel it's gonna CH you can do wsAAA for decent damage. Her wsK is a strict CH set up that will allow her best combo: wsK(ch), 6A+B~PO A:6, 3KKK.
66A,B: (h,m) a good mid-range tool for controlling sidesteppers and free on counter hit.
Ninja Bombs (4A+B and 2A+B): Use as a whiff punish tool for the quick version (4A+B), and it can lead to easy damage such as hold forward to go into PO and hit forward again to rush towards them, then hit 8B+G to air grab them. The 2A+B version is slow and unblockable, so you wanna think about using it as opponents are attempting to recover from a KD or stun.
Aside from those tools, just hit buttons less. A lot of her stuff is hit confirmable like AA(wait for confirm counter flash) BBBB. So you don't have to leave yourself open following through on blockable/punishible stuff.
Cheers matey!
