Rare & valuable X-Box games.

Post by scottykick »

I just thought I would start a little thread about what i think are some of the more rare or valuable games from the original X-Box and see what other people may be able to add, since compared to the Gamecube and PS2 the prices for X-Box games seems to be very affordable, it may be fun to point out some of the harder to find or just high demand games that keep the prices up, off the top of my head the ones that come to mind are

Futurama
Ratatouille
Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Kakuto Chojin
Classified:The Sentinel Crisis
TOM & JERRY: WAR OF THE WHISKERS
House of the Dead 3
Godzilla: Destoy All Monsters
Frogger Beyond
F1 2001
Steel Battalion (complete)
Sneakers

dont forget the snk games and such.
Im pretty sure Metal Slug 3, Samurai Shodown 5, KOF neowave and I think they released KOF 94-Rebout but Im not sure.
Panzer Dragoon Orta is pricey as well.

personally I love my original xbox, and I havent even modded it yet. I dont really play fps or racing games which the xbox oozes. it still has a ton of great fighters and arcade ports, plus a few gems from Sega before they went to shit.

not that its expensive but Half Life 2 is generally hard to find. Usually have to go for ebay on that one.

I get the feeling that Xyanide is going to be hard to find soon.

Beyond Good & Evil, Panzer, Psychonauts, Metal Arms, MGS2, Marvel VS. Capcom 2...

All great games and I've only been able to find Beyond G&E and MGS2...I'd kill for the other games!

Is Dreamfall any good? O constantly see it in the blow out bins, always close to ten copies of it...is it worth picking up for a song?

It's absolutely worth picking up, especially for that price. I'd recommend getting The Longest Journey (an older PC point-and-click adventure game, its prequel) beforehand, though (if you haven't already played it), since the plot will make a bit more sense that way. It's not REQUIRED, per se, but the game's much more satisfying, and TLJ is one of the finest adventure games ever made.
