Looking at getting Asuna and Kirito next, but I haven't fell in love with any of their figures yet. The Figma figures are nice but pricey. I'm looking forward to the Silica Figure coming out this summer.

Misuse of the word to the point of it being meaningless in most uses is a pet peeve. Most people would agree that calling SMB 'rare' is nonsense when seen on ebay or CL, yet so many incorrectly use the word when what they really mean is something is harder to find for sale simply because people that own something already are holding onto it.

See also "ironic" thanks to Alanis Morissette, "epic" in relation to things that aren't, and "ROFL" where nobody that has typed that has fallen out of their chair and convulsed in laughter before doing so, ever.

Turbo Express? Rare. Always has been. It didn't "become rare", it simply was from the beginning.
The valkyrie figure was always rare, and now it's rarer (more difficult to find) because there are less on the market. So each one is more valuable.

Anyway, I got a noel vermillion figure too.

Wasn't sure where to post this, so:

Has anybody actually been able to find any of the "World of Nintendo" figures by JAKKS Pacific? Everybody says Toys R Us or Target, but I have had zero luck.

I've found a few. I have Ice Luigi, Fire Mario, Waluigi, and Wario from the smaller scale line. I see DK and Diddy frequently but I've never picked them up.

As for the larger 5+ inch versions, I've stumbled across Mario and Yoshi several times, but I've never managed to find Link, DK, or Bowser.

Which is obnoxious, because Bowser is the one I really want.

Which figures are you after in particular?

Yeah, I searched around the net a bit after posting this and saw similar complaings. "I can find X, but I never see Y or Z". I'm not sure why they're so illusive. It's annoying...

Looking for the big Bowser and DK, Diddy and Link. Despite the shotty paint job, JAKKS Bowser is one of the best I've seen to date. At this point I'd be happy if I could find any of them though.

You can also grab them online for 2-3x the price.

Camellia, who ranks amongst my favorite vocaloid producers, has this great track for Racing Miku called "Drag the Ground":
