NES Cleaning Kit

Post by Snatch1414 »

I've gotten the impression at times that this is a good way to go for cleaning the system/pin connector. There's one at my local store for $5 and looks to have everything. Is this thing worth it or do the usual modern methods suffice?

If it has the cleaning bits and they aren't brown from already being used a lot, it might be worth it since for the NES you have to disassemble to get at the system pins otherwise.

Yes. It works well, as long as it's in a usable condition. It wont fight things like oxidation, but if your connector has never been properly cleaned, it'll do wonders.
