Action cards I tend to use AWAKENING, GRACE, LIGHTNING AND COVER FIRE
Maybe someone can tell me where I need to be strengthening. I can see that I'm missing a real "Tank" card.
The action cards I used most are Psyche Up (free SP), Toopdaton (free union attack), Lucky Kitty (Draw two cards). I feel these cards are an instant "three of" in any deck, since these cards would be helpful in almost any situation.
Here are my more questionable inclusions. I have 1 Revive, but it's a bit pricey at 6 SP. It's very useful when your best character card is in the discard pile, but it's still highly contextual. I also have a couple of Tri-Attacks, but I use them rarely.
If you can get your hands on some, Nakoruru will render Grace obsolete.
I feel most Action Cards are too pricey for what they do, and most of the time you're better off spending your SP on a Union attack and having something else in your hand.
Well I had a better time of it with my NGPC gaming today.
Had to make a boring train journey so got some solid hours in on MOTM and finally unlocked BB Hood.
However tonight I played five or six rounds of Card Clash. managed to pick up a couple of decent cards but the highlight was playing the kid who is running around in front of the toy missile display. Beating him laded me only one card, however it was my first 'S' card: Mecha Zangief
I guess I finally got my 'Tank' and because I already have Zangief and some of his support cards, this should be a useful one!
I'm wondering though, was this a random event or does he always give you this card?
Josh is...ummm...Josh is...there's no nice way to say it. Calling him delusional is unfair to folks with delusions.
At least he finally made his feedback private so it at least looks like he sells stuff. He has a dozen overly (insanely) high priced items and then all this feedback on $0.99 stuff - so at least now he can pretend some of that stuff sells.
Don't know if you saw, he started his own forum - it's AMAZING. He created multiple admin accounts, but to keep it so he knew which was which, they all had "Josh" somewhere in the username. Then when people signed up, if anyone questioned his prices, or his advertising philosophy, he immediately banned them. You can't make it up.

Who?
And for a million, I'm shocked I don't also get a copy of Metal Slug Anthology on PS2.
A fellow named Josh who runs a brick and mortar in Huntington Beach - he buys PCB's from JP sellers that you and I can buy from, then puts them on ebay for 2-3x markup. You can find out plenty about him, so i'll leave his personal info to your google searches "VideogameX Huntington Beach".
His claim to fame is being friendly with Chris and Dion when it's convenient, then when they are getting heat from past or present stuff, he disavows them, then uses them as references when claiming his AES games are legit, it's a comical circle.
He's also very religious and anyone who thinks he's overpriced or his way of abusing ebay to get free publicity is tacky, "is posessed by the devil". He's got more than one report on the feedback sites like yelp, etc, of stories of him chasing away buyers screaming they are homosexual, or challenging them to fights, it's really good stuff if you have the time.
It took 30 seconds to find this one on yelp:
I've been coming into this store for over a year, wishing them the best, and hoping to find better deals than I've seen "elsewhere." But today's visit was a thoroughly disgusting experience...
First, and foremost, I get along professionally with just about everybody... I'm only prefacing this review with that statement because I've never been so unnecessarily infuriated with a store owner in my whole life...
Upon entering, the owner greeted me and asked me if I was looking for anything particular, etc... I said I was just looking, to which the owner inquired what game system I had. I mentioned I had a PS3 and that I had been coming in for some time now. Not seeing many used games for less than offered "elsewhere," I asked how business was going. The owner (a super-hyper and loud guy in his 40s with a turned baseball cap) perked up, swiveled his chair toward me and went right into a verbal tirade that went something like this:
"Oh man, we're doing just fine. We keep out of all that corporate stuff and just do our own thing. I mean we're not even playing the game. We don't pay any attention to stupid reviews on Yelp or other homos."
I had been smiling until now. I was a little stunned that I was hearing this come from the owner's mouth to a customer. Mind you, I am not gay, nor am I homophobic; but clearly that comment had no place in the exchange. But it continued...
"Those corporate homos can sodomize each other over profits all they want. We don't even deal in profits! But the bible tells us the sodomites...." blah blah blah...
As he continued to mangle actual scripture to fit his spiteful agenda, I walked passed his counter and headed toward the back exit (from which I entered.) As I passed him, I interrupted with, "Enough, enough, you just ran me right out of your store with that nonsense." He jumped up and followed me out, turning his perceived anger and bile toward me, shouting at me that I need to read the bible and calling me a "tough guy" for no applicable reason.
He followed me outside and hovered near his door as I went to my car 10 feet away. I could sense he wanted to fight me. Actually fight me. I asked why he is still harassing me and that I had left his store and was on public property. He screamed to me that I needed to wake up and to read a bible (clearly assuming I was homosexual.)
As I got my cell phone out to begin recording the judgmental tirade, he closed and locked his back door and disappeared back into the shop.
Another reviewer below (James P) gave reference to this owner's off-putting and bombastic behavior that has evidently turned away others.
I have no bias or angle here. Simply sharing a shockingly awful experience that has me wanting to expose this owner's full personality and intolerant agenda against not only corporate America (something I agreed with him on), but clearly random "homos" and "sodomites." Some (whom share his political views) might see his behavior as commendable, although it remains an affront to Christians that practice kindness and tolerance. I just want to expose the anger that hides in this sad man's heart. Totally unnecessary experience. All from asking how his business was doing... Good thing he doesn't care about Yelp reviews.
Now, I'm heading over to GameStop, then home to have heterosexual sex with my wife.

The rabbit hole of insanity that is Video Game X and its proprietor, Josh, has been more extensively documented on NG.com.
In addition to the stuff mjmjr mentioned, Josh had a hare-brained idea to have some kind of incentive plan on his forum, something like every 10,000 posts on his forum nets a $10 credit at Video Game X.
Also, he tried to get another NG.com member to invest in Video Game X. The member who was presented with the "investment opportunity" called the store next to Video Game X to gauge what kind of sales volume the store was getting. The guy at the store next to Video Game X said that Josh comes in late, closes early, and there's never anyone at the store.

I'm sure the hookers and blow have gone up in price too. Cut the guy some slack.
