Anyway, what I meant to type, how are you liking it so far? I just beat the PS2 version of this about a week ago. Loved it to death.

Did a few more runs on X-men Vs. Street Fighter.
Also started up Crash Bandicoot. I've beaten the first two bosses and a couple of levels after that. This one isn't going to take long.

Re: Summer Games Challenge 2014
1. Daikatana
2. Thief
3. Super Mario 2: The Lost Levels
4. Eye of the Beholder
5. Final Fantasy V
Alternates:
6. Battletoads in Battlemaniacs
7. Brave Fencer Musashi
8. Dragonsphere
9. Silent Hill
10. MDK
And done with John Romero's Daikatana, thus knocking the first game off my list. I'll put my thoughts in the Games Beaten thread most likely, but needless to say, this was a trying experience.
I plan to move on to Eye of the Beholder now, along with Thief since it is already installed.

Final Fantasy I GBA (I have the NES game, but I'd be afraid the battery would die on me)
Final Fantasy VI GBA
Dragon Warrior I GBC
Dragon Warrior III GBC
What do you guys think?

Dragon Warrior III on the GBC is the best 8-bit RPG. Go with that one.

1. Double Dragon (NES)
2. Super Aleste (SNES)
3. Perfect Dark (N64)
4. Wave Race 64 (N64)
5. Shantae (GBC via 3DS VC)
6. Ristar (MD via Wii VC)
7. Bangai-O (DC)
8. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PSP)
9. Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together (PSP)
10. Metal Gear Solid 2 (Vita)
1st game down, and it wasn't the one I was planning on.
I'd started Perfect Dark ages back, around Christmas. Me and friend went out for a joint birthday drinks, and spent the next day playing through half of the game in co-op.
Yesterday we were out for drinks again, so today we decided to plug through some more Perfect Dark and we finished it.
So, Perfect Dark. I can see why people love it so much. It definitely feels pretty fleshed out for it's time, it has some (quite quintisentially British) charm, and it's fast paced and fun. It;s not my kinda thing though. Unfortunately, FPS as a genre is just not that exciting to me. Perfect Dark is one of the one's I've enjoyed most though.
The weapon variety in the game is nice, even if you generally stick to one gun per mission. The missions mix stuff up quite a lot, and I like how you get more objectives on harder difficulties. However, I'm not a fan of the games erratic difficulty - some missions like the break into Area 51 are much harder than the missions that come later.
The story is basic, but fun enough. The graphics are honestly pretty ugly, but functional. They probably looked great back in the day. The music is pretty atmospheric and catchy in places though. Aiming was odd - the game really heavily adds auto aiming to your gun meaning you only have to point vaguely in the right direction to shoot enemies.
One issue I did encounter with the game was that it could be quite glitchy. In our run of the game, there was a surprisingly high number of occassion we had to restart levels because of a glitch - the last level in particular glitched out on us 3 times - a block we need to push got locked in place, meaning we couldnt progress (twice) and one time the final boss teleported (as he often does) and just never reappeared.
It's a good game. I feel like I'm probably issing it's historical context and significance due to my ambivalence towards the genre though.
I've finished Rondo of Blood now, so it's time to get stuck into Symphony of the Night (I know some other people have this on their list too - time to get started?).
As I have my N64 set up I might go straight onto Wave Race 64 next as far as console games go. It'll let me keep playing other games outside of this challenge too. Again, I've seen this on a few lists too, so time to get going!
