Found this at Goodwill for $2.50. It's an Aura Interactor.

Box looks mint. I think it's missing the AC adapter, so I can't test it.

I've had a few oppertunities to buy one of these in the box but seems kind of odd. Like a subwoofer backpack? Try it out, let us know if its any good.storino03 wrote:Found this at Goodwill for $2.50. It's an Aura Interactor.

^ My brother had one briefly when I was a kid. From what I remember it sounded like garbled crap and it didn't do much for me.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Seems to be largely ineffective, even at the original MSRP of $160.
But for $2.50, it'll make a nice addition to the collection.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Finds from the last couple of weeks. My favorite thrift store was good to me again
Went in last week and found several GC games. Several sports games and a few I already had, but they did have a couple that were complete. Also found a spare controller in the electronics section and when I got up front one of the workers pulled out a plastic bag with some GBA games. Mostly movie/cartoon tie-in stuff, but there was at least one gem I was able to scratch off my list (and this one isn't a bootleg
)

Pac Man VS/World 2 - $1.50
Batman Begins - $1.50
GC controller - $1
Game Boy SP Pearl/Game Boy SP Red (w/case and no adapter) - $0.75 for both
Tony Hawks Underground - $1.50
Pokemon Fire Red - $1.50
No adapter with the SPs and the tops are a bit 'worn', but the red one still turned on and the Pearl one (I would have just called it blue. Never would have occurred to me to name it Pearl) seems to hold it's charge all right. I was really surprised when he said $0.75 for both of them, but who am I to question their generosity? And finding Fire Red gives me hope that one day the store will help me track down copies of the DS games.
Went back to the store a couple days ago and they'd put out a couple more GC games (stragglers, I'm sure). I had the one game in my hand when one of the regular workers spotted me and brought me to the back of the store where she presented me with a yet undistributed plastic baggie of GC games and a PSP movie.

King Kong - $1.50
Baggie of gaming/movie goodness - $1
- Tony Hawk Underground
- Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2
- Garfield The Movie
- NBA Live 2005
- NCAA 2005
- Madden 2005
Oh, look, half of them are sports games (sarcastic Yay!), but for $1 I'm not letting that shit slip by. I already have Hot Pursuit 2 and really just wanted Underground, but I figured that I could test the others and, if I really hated them, sell them and get my money back. Shouldn't be hard since they come out to about $0.17 each

That reminds me michi what did you find out about that poke bootleg? I don't think I ever saw you say anything about it after posting about it earlier
still kinda interesting to find out what you did find out though....

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I went to two flea markets today.
SNES console $5
Gamecube console $5
Harvest Moon PS1 CIB $3
Official N64 expansion pak $2
PSone power adapter $2
Sega Game Gear travel case with battery pack/charger $6
A great day indeed. There was a Playstation game holder at one for $2 but I didn't buy it because the label was peeling. I'm sure they go for $20 online or so.
