It seems that chart has lead to Aesop Rock getting a lot more exposure.

Also, Wu-Tang Forever.

Aesop Rock is one of those "catnip judges a book by its cover" things. For some reason, I despise his name, so I've never really listened to him. Is he any good?

Also, Snoop and DMX, oh boy. Love them so much, but not exactly wordsmiths hahaha

Aesop Rock is pretty awesome. I was a big fan of his early albums. Float and Labor Day are great. Labor Day especially. "Daylight" is stunning if you've never heard it. Bazooka Tooth was good. Really... dense atmosphere? Sometime after that I kind of started paying less attention to his releases though. I feel like he started to go off the deep end w/ his lyrics. Either he got smarter or I got dumber. Probably both. I joke, but I think that it's just a matter of my taste changing a bit over time. Anyway, rambles aside - yeah he's worth checking out. And I'd suggest Labor Days as a starting point.

Also, when A$AP Rocky came out I was like damn, this is confusing. And I had trouble saying his name at first w/o saying Aesop Rock instead. Rocky claims he hadn't heard of Aesop Rock when he came up w/ his name. There's a recent youtube video of the two of them meeting that's kind of cool.

Aesop's last album Skelethon is growing on me... kind of like None Shall Pass. What I am really excited about is that Can Ox is supposed to drop another album in 2014.

It'll happen sometime before Detox... and after the Cure. (that's like saying sometime between Now and Never!

No but seriously they did some touring and compiled "Gotham" so I think it'll happen... I hope it'll happen.
