Zelda II is great, and it is one of my favorite games in the Zelda series. When I travel up to Maine next month, I will sow you how to beat it!

I hope to have it done sometime in the next couple of weeks!

But thanks for informing me warning me that you'll be in Maine this summer.

The biggest mistake people make with zelda 2 is trying to legitimately fight shielded enemies by blocking and stabbing. Always jump and stab the enemy in the face on your way down - they almost never block it, its much faster and you'll probably take much less damage. Makes the game much easier.

Grab games while you can...when I get through, there won't be any left!

(Seriously, I will be up for at least a week sometime next month. I will send you a PM so we can get together for some gaming.)

.....

Also, R-Type Delta is destroying me. I still haven't spent that much time with it, but I still can't get past the "beehive" section on the second level. It is really easy up until that point, however; so, I hope that the difficulty will scale back a bit once I develop a strategy to get through it (before scaling way back up for the final levels). Basically, that section is something I would expect from one of the later levels in a classic R-Type game....it just appears in the second level here.

Dsheinem, my body is ready.

Here's my first draft.

1. Resident Evil 4 (PS2)
2. Donkey Kong 64 (N64)
3. Star Wars Episode I Racer (Dreamcast)
I understand that this is far more popular on the N64, but the Dreamcast version interests me more.
4. Silhouette Mirage (Saturn)
5. Panzer Dragoon Zwei (Saturn)
6. Burning Rangers (Saturn)
7. F-Zero GX (GC)
8. Shantae (GBC via 3DS)
9. Virtual Boy Wario Land (VB)
10. Sonic and Knuckles (Genesis)
11. Shadow of the Colossus (PS2)

We're playing I Have No Mouth in october for Together Retro. Otherwise, damn that's a lot of good games. You could probably remove Dynamite Heddy and Golden Axe though.
