I was going to post something about that but I wasn't sure if it was only my local store.
You are lucky your store has so much good stuff on sale. The store here doesn't have any cool stuff. Only thing I found was PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale for $8.
Game Systems Owned: NES, NES 2 (AV mod), SNES, SNES 2, N64 (Pikachu), N64 original (boxed), Gamecube (Orange, Silver, Purple), Wii, Wii U (Zelda), GB Pocket, GBA (2x-Arctic & Indigo), GBA SP (3x), DS Lite (Crimson/Black), 3DS (Aqua Blue), Sega Genesis and 32X, Game Gear, Lynx, PSP (2x), Vita, and Gold PS4.
I was talking with a co-worker about her pending retirement the other day. She mentioned how she is cleaning out her home, tossing all sorts of things in the trash in preparation for a move to another state. I asked her if she had any old video games I could take off her hands. She said she did, but was not sure which games or system. Today, she and I went out to her car and she had a box of spagetti wires. Trapped in the middle all those cords was a NES, 2 controllers, the orange Zapper and 4 complete in box games. Zelda, Shadowgate, Anticipation, SMB3, and then the pack-in SMB/Duck Hunt cart. I'm especially excited about the Zelda box and cart - I've never owned that one.
Systems: Pong, Odyssey2, Atari 2600, NES, CDX, SNES, N64, Saturn, DC, PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox, GCN, Wii, Xbox360, OUYA Handhelds: GB, GBC, GBA, DS lite, DSi, Virtual Boy (<< is that even a portable?) EM Pinballs: Bally Dixieland, Gottlieb Flying Carpet SS Pinball: GTB Circus, GTB Count-Down, GTB Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Stern Lectronamo, Stern Galaxy, Bally Black Pyramid

Sweet! It's always nice to happen by some great stuff through simple conversation with somebody. Good on ya!

Agreed. Nice work! You saved those games from getting thrown out!
.....
I randomly polished off some PS3 subsets this morning. Among my other finds, I grabbed complete copies of DMC: Devil May Cry (PS3) and Resident Evil: Revelations (PS3) for $8 and $10 respectively. Accordingly, I now own all of the Devil May Cry games on the PS3, and I also own all of the PS3 Resident Evil games.
Thinking back, I estimate that I acquired Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition ($8), Resident Evil 6 ($6), Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City ($6), and Resident Evil: Revelations ($10) for about $30 total. That is just over 1/2 the amout just one of these games would have cost "new"...Yay!
Watermelon N64 with cords and Orange controller - $35 Battlezone: Rise of the Black Dogs (N64 cart) $2 Mario Party (DS cart only) - $5 Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (DS cart only) - $5 NBA 2K14 (360) - $10
I took NBA 2K14, Mario & Luigi, and a copy of Skyrim to Gamestop and got $47 in credit that I put toward Watch Dogs for PS4

^^^^^ Wow. Great price on the Watermelon N64 and controller.
I just made a pretty good trade on my lunch hour. I traded my extra SNES copies of Zelda: ALTTP and Super Mario World for the following N64 games, all CIB and in great condition.
Mickey's Speedway Hot Wheels Turbo Racing Army Men: Air Combat Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2
I paid a total of $18 for the two games I traded so I'm pretty happy with what I ended up getting in the end.
Nothing at Goodwill today or at the game store. I bought a 3-in-1 power supply for SNES ($7) and an NES game called Astyanax to use as a donor for Recca. I probably paid too much, it was $5 and they had 5 copies. They won't haggle so the wall of NES commons just sit there for years. I found a copy of Dokapon Kingdom at Gamestop for $25 but it was just a disc so I passed.
Unrelated but still related to video games. I sold an N64 bundle on Amazon, guy says that it doesn't work a week later. I got it back today and the front grill is busted out on one side, it's really dirty, the controller joystick is now loose and there are black smudges on the mint controller that I sent. I'm sure this idiot is trying to scam me so now I have to deal with that. The power supply he sent back is also third party which isn't the one I sent.

Yeah I'd definitely try reporting it....that is odd to somehow get in that way in a week's time.
