I totally understand where you guys are coming from about the thrift stores and thank you for all the input but A lot of this I already know of except for the bookstores never thought about those. Anyways here is what I have right now
22 snes games
28 genesis games
4 wii games
2 360 games
and 20 or so ps2 games (in which I would love to get rid of)
I have enough for now. I used to always go to the stores and flea markets but I don't anymore due to the fact that A. the suck in my area and B. I waste too much time and gas. I do go to that's entertainment on my way home from work but even their prices are higher than what I can find on ebay if I wait and look hard enough(sometimes most of the time they or on the money with prices).
That's why I just wait and go on ebay at the beginning of the month spend 30 or so bucks and enjoy the game whaen it comes in the mail.
Now does anyone want a ps2 for trade I used up my credit to buy for the ps2 for samurai shodown anthology, megaman anniversary, art of fighting anthology, and I own Capcom vs snk 2. I just want either snes or genesis games. IF not then Friday im selling it either craigslist or that's entertainment for credit.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Just wait for the big score. Over the course of 4-5 months last year I had 2-3 of them that made it all worth it. The rest of those weekends I either found a couple small things, wasted some money just to feel like it was worth coming out, or completely wasted my time. That's just the way it is.
It's like sales. It's not always the best investment of your time, but if you do your due diligence you eventually find the one time when it was worth it x100.

Always pinning your hopes on a "big score" means you're going to be disappointed most of the time. IMHO that's the wrong attitude to have. Be positive and have fun, but make finds a happy thing, not anything less than a score be bad.

Dokapon Kingdom Wii 22 bucks. Looked like they literally stuck a used label on a new game.
With the insane prices of this over at Ebay I may flip this one. (maybe, might consider trading)
Very very lucky, that game shows only one across the country available but disc only. The other state that does have CIB is already on hold. Mine hopefully is on the way shipped from another Gamestop along with another uncommon racing game that supports the Wii feedback steering wheel I have been teasing about.
Gaaah, I hate that four letter flip word. I hope you at least play it before just turning a profit.
Sorry CRT, I should say re-invest it in my collection by utilizing it to realize more games!!
By the way, what state was the reserve in?

I already have a Retron 3 but $14 shipped on ebay, thats like giving it away for free. It was listed as non working with a jammed power button but when I got it and unjammed the button(which was almost nothing), bam it works perfect. It came with all these super extra crappy 3rd party controllers which don't work, and honestly don't care. Also, when I was putting the box it came in away in my closet of boxes, I heard a rattle. I looked in and saw two metal baseball cards and a Texas lottery ticket which I think won $3 lol.

I'll take that

A quick drive to the pawn shop got me Mario Kart 7 and New Super Mario Bros. 2 cart only for $10, together. I don't even have a system, so they'll be sold soon enough.

Hey everyone. I want to spread the word. Toys R Us has a good sale going on right now.
They have 40-70% off on all their merchandise.
Many games are 60% off!
I hung around the store and went through a lot of games. My store locally has some decent stuff too.
I made a list of games that I might go back for. But this is what I got a while ago.
Maybe you'll get lucky too and get some good games as well.
Prices here are with discount!
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Ring Of Fates DS $3.99
Dragon Quest VI Realms of Revelation DS $5.99
ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection PS3 $8.00
Twisted Metal PS3 $8.00
Saint Wii $3.99

happy hunting!
