I'll be starting tonight. So, we are saying the standard JP version is ok, but the nuances in PRO might yield different results. So...no Pro, yeah?

I don't know if its exclusion should be set in stone but since the emphasis of this round is score and one of the things that was changed in PRO was the scoring system, it'd call for an asterisk at a minimum.

BTW: Sorry to say this Noise but Chun Li sucks in this game. She doesn't seem to have any advantages over similarly fast characters such as Cammy or King. In fact, King is more Chun Li than Chun Li in this iteration. Her lightning kick is a huge disappointment that requires her to stand there vulnerable for what seems a whole second. Why she's a tier 2 character and Cammy is tier 1 is beyond me.

it sounds to me like changes in PRO are pretty minor. If it's the only version you have then I don't see a reason to be a hard-ass about it. Unless they're more substantial than I understand from AGES's post, I'm not sure these changes would throw the score all that much in one way or another.

@Flake: you shut your filthy mouth.

I'm probably going to play NAOMI, but I have all 3 DC versions too. Just wanted to make sure so that when I win the prize there are no complaints.
noise, remind us the prize?

How can I put this....I'd rather take the version of Chun Li from Street Figher EX plus Alpha than this nerfed monstrosity. Hell, if someone could patch in Chun Li from Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game over this version of Chun Li, that would be the definitive version of CvS.

@Flake - post a score so I have something to shoot for when I get home.

I assume you have your DC hooked up at your new gaming pad rackspace office?

I will this evening.

Nah, I'm not that cool yet. We do have two SFII Champion Edition cabinets downstairs though. My section is right behind fully functional Tron and Gauntlet II machines.

Ok, i'm not sure i'm doing it right.

I beat it on my first run and my final score was 45.7? What am I doing wrong?

From main menu:
Arcade
Character select
Fight
felt like 7-8 matches, game over, never lost a round?

Finishing rounds with a Super that counters your opponent's move, special, or super will considerably up your score. They call it a "dramatic K.O."
