Well you are rolling through it!
Things slow down once you hit the Palace of Solomon, which will happen soon. You're gonna spend a lot of time there.

I have one of those (Ken) and the Sega Classics via Steam wont register the both the RB and RT (I forget which one) so it would not be a great replacement for a 6 button game. Just fine for Wonder Boy though.noiseredux wrote:Like I said, try as I might... The Wonder Boy/Adventure Island/Monster World "series" is just baffling. I mean, look at that list you gave... there's TWO GAMES called Wonder Boy III haha.
Anyway, I'm gonna prob give it another go tonight, though I'd like to try to get a head-start on one of the longer games too this week. (Thinking maybe Fallout).
Also occurred to me that instead of the 360 pad for Wonder Boy, I might want to use this:
as it would be pretty close to a Genesis style controller.

oh that's right, they don't read triggers on the 360 pad. Odd. But you're right.SpaceBooger wrote: I have one of those (Ken) and the Sega Classics via Steam wont register the both the RB and RT (I forget which one) so it would not be a great replacement for a 6 button game. That said, as most of the Genny games on there are 3-button, I could at least map it so that A,B,C is X,Y,RB on the MadCatz.
Although the 360 pad was working just fine for me anyway.

I think it's hilarious to see someone play an old ass Wonder Boy game with a controller like that.

Get up to level 5.
Ys is seriously grindy.
Just be thankful you aren't playing the Master System version.

got up to the boss in the mines in Monster World where it's too huge heads shooting rocks at you. I had to check a walkthrough for how to get to that boss. I don't know how you'd know to jump on the switches in that certain order. I've talked to everyone I've seen and never received such a tip.

OK, played the first level of Tomb Raider Anniversary. When it comes to Summer Games Challenge, I like to juggle a couple at a time. Man... Crystal Dymanics knew what they were doing even then.
