Uh, not that I'm the world's authority on those commercials as I kinda of stopped watching TV around the time I first saw one, but isn't it "Snap into a Slip Jim"?Ack wrote:At least he didn't say "slammed into." That is reserved for Slim Jims.

Yeah, but then you don't get hilarious Angelfire webpages like this one:Hobie-wan wrote:Uh, not that I'm the world's authority on those commercials as I kinda of stopped watching TV around the time I first saw one, but isn't it "Snap into a Slip Jim"?Ack wrote:At least he didn't say "slammed into." The height of Slim Jim-man's popularity was his inclusion in Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX on the Dreamcast (I'm sure he's on all platforms, but still)
So yeah, loving that Baja Blast. Looks like it's probably gonna stick around for the summer much like Live Wire used to.

Yesssssssss. I played it for PSX, so good. I loved playing the "Try to hurt yourself as much as possible" game mode, and then hitting the trainExedExes wrote:The height of Slim Jim-man's popularity was his inclusion in Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX on the Dreamcast (I'm sure he's on all platforms, but still)
Also, this game was the first time I ever heard Sublime ("What I Got"). Man, was it amazing.
Final Fantasy IX is the best one
Re: What Are You Drinking?
Picked up and enjoyed some really nice brews and enjoyed them with a friend while getting to know Mario Kart 8 tonight.
Dogfish Head: Red and White - 10% ABV - Really well balanced white ale aged in pinot noir barrels. Sweet white wheat but with a dry red wine finish. I love this style because it gives me what I normally like but with a nice twist. 8.5/10
Ballast Point: Sculpin IPA - 9% ABV - One of the least hoppy IPAs around that still carries itself well and finishes super clean. 7.5/10
Ranger Creek: Small Batch #8 - Super small micro brewery that does these one-offs each year. This year it's a high alcohol content deep red copper ale. Way too bright and bitter when cold but mellows and sweetens up as it reaches a more modest temp. This one needs age but that what these beers are all about, enjoy one now and cellar one for a year or two down the road. 8/10 for now.
