If it is just CD rips put on to vinyl, I am still interested, but not as much as I was. Also, in your Nintendo Age topic you said you cannot get rights for any Chrono Cross songs other than Scars of Time. If that is the case, why not just have Scars as the last track?
Not a bad idea, I will consider that. Chrono Cross is my favourite OST and it makes me sad that it isn't feasible. As far as quality, it'll be in the highest quality I can manage to get a hold of. I do have both copies of the original CD releases from Japan currently and I'd likely rip them FLAC.

might be a re-post but i'm not on NA, but why can't you get the rights to anything but one song?

Truth be told, I am surprised he got the rights to any of them. Square is a very hard to deal with company.

Pretty sure the CT OST is still being sold on itunes. Don't know about Chrono Cross.

Securing one of the songs seems like a miracle.

I think there's a slight misunderstanding. These are just a form of rights; thus, the product itself will not be licensed, but they will be getting paid for the product...if that makes sense.

i think i get it.

but, honestly, a one sided sky blue/white marble 7" of "Scars of Time" w/ a gatefold cover full of minimalist, custom Chrono Cross-inspired art and an etching on the B side would be a phenomenal collector's piece and i would pay like $20-$40 for one depending on how excellent it looked :)

Yeah, it really translates to "Square will make money off this, but if they don't like it, they can shut it down." Thus I can't claim fully licensed, but I have some coals in the fire to try one day being able to do such things.

Also, your idea sounds amazing. I unfortunately can't make that happen at this point, but dayum.

So you're just going to get lossless transfers of CD tracks pressed on vinyl? This smells like a bootleg to me.
