I'm def down for cvs for sure. Still couldnt find my arcade sticks
Played with pad and only achieved 13mil (game completed). So I gave up lol!
CvS series play is gonna be REAL interesting to play for score mainly because your score is evaluated in real time. Also, CvS1 has a score bug if recall.

Okay, so starting CvS tonight. Do we have any rules on how many characters we can take or what ratios we can use? I've always been a big fan of taking lots of low ratio characters.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
So what is the best way to play this - meaning how do we all do the same thing where we have something tangible to say, "XXX is doing the best so far".
Score? Survival? Other modes?
Are the US and JP versions the same? I seem to recall CvS JP being called Millennium Fight...does that make it different at all?
so in CvS2 there's a mode where you play every single character in the game. It's like 40 something rounds. If that mode is in the first game (can't remember) then it might be fun to play for endurance. See which round you can make it to on a single credit?
I like that idea. Could we also have a second tier goal with the main arcade game, similar to what we did for SFA3 except I'd like to uncouple it from defeating the final boss - just 1cc to get the highest score you can before you see the gameover.
With two goals to shoot for, I think it might help us avoid any fatigue or frustration like what happened for some of us with SFA3.

You may be reffering to CvS2's subtitle change Mark of the Millenium 01/Millionaire Fighting 01 which wouldn't apply because CvS2 never got a stateside release here in the US.

FTFY - and having played the Dreamcast version of CvS2, it is a little different from the GCN and PS2 ports of the same.
