Smile: Mother's Day! A holiday I actually quite like!
Frown: Won't get down to see my own mom today.
Smile: Wonderful graduation yesterday with lots of hugs, handshakes, and warm fuzzies all around!
Frown: Pile of grading I'm ignoring.

I'm kidding, but I'm not. I'm doing both.

Why does seeing your mom involve dancing?dsheinem wrote:Smile: Mother's Day! A holiday I actually quite like!

Anyway, congrats to Banana on graduating and to Bone for his GPA.
And Jinx, good to see you! I'm sorry life is going rough, but as always, you are welcome back to these forums and can PM any of us if ever you need to talk!

Welcome back Jinx and Apple Queso! We've missed you both, at least I certainly have.
Had a great weekend with my mom. It was a beautiful weekend in Michigan, probably the first where it felt like Winter let us slip from its icy grasp. Went to an outdoor antique fair.
Found some antique postcards from the 1910's. I like to collect old ones from places where we have lived. It's really quite neat and often has a story to tell. I like when they're written on the back and looking at the prose and what was commonly said on a postcard back then. We have quite a few from Marquette, and a few from Ann Arbor/University of Michigan. I think it's one thing I'll eventually frame and display as some cool art.
Frown: Looks like the nice weather has passed and we'll have some not-so-nice weather. It'd be great though if we got some nice thunderstorms!

Eh. Didn't get the job. There are more out there though.
Thankfully I didn't need this job currently.

Yeah. I also now have all the time in the world to devote to trying my hand at some content creation on YouTube just like every other gamer on the planet.catnip wrote:Aw, sorry man. Speaking of jobs I haven't worked in about 11 months now.
