I've been playing Troika's The Temple of Elemental Evil. Once you get past the gamestopping bugs and install the fan-patches, this game is fan-freakin'-tastic. It's too bad it's so short.

I loved the first one and I hear 2 is better. I'm gonna try and burn a copy of SFCD and play through it and then hit SF2 on that new Genesis compilation.

In the meantime I'm playing Chrono Trigger DS and now I see what all the fuss is about!

I beat SF1 back in the 90s and started the second one... I since sold them (back in college for beer money or other games) but for my last birthday got a genesis and SFCD. The only problem is that the genny is in the basement and with the birth of my son it's hard to find time to spend in the basement and SFCD has become one of those games I started but never finished. So I got SF2 on the VC to play in the living room so that I do not totally ignore my son... plus I never finished it back in the 90s.

I'm working my way through Terranigma on an emulator right now. It seems that it's one of those games that always comes up in lists of super-awesome-yet-obscure RPGs since it was released in Europe but not the US. It's been pretty awesome so far.

I'm at the second to last dungeon of Persona 4, and working on grinding a bit so I can make the Trumpeter for the last Empress request. And I can't get the battle theme out of my head.

I was playing Persona 3, but it was boring me to tears. Now I'm about 10 hours into Dragon Warrior VII and 15 or so into Fallout 3.

After avoiding RPGs for a while, I just picked up FFIV for DS. It took me all of 45 minutes to turn off the voice acting.

Honestly, the voice work wasn't really horrible. But hearing the constant mispronunciation of the name "Cecil" bothered me so greatly that I had no choice but to turn it off.

Way to go Square. He's one of the few protagonists in the series who doesn't look like a fairy (in the beginning, at least). They just had to screw it up by making an otherwise normal-sounding (and masculine) name sound gay.

Baldur's Gate on PC is on hiatus. Might restart that one since I screwed up a couple quests.
