I'd recommend we did CvS over CvS2 if only for the accessibility factor. Also, I think CvS is a superior game.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I've spent more time w/CvS2 and than CvS. More time being about 3 hours, probably. I'm game for either.

Is everyone else getting maxed on SFA3?

I think we all are yeah. Both are great. CvS is probably easier to obtain as some don't import right? But I got both, and game for both.

Yeah, I'm ready to move on. I've had a lot of fun but for some reason I can't seem to get any further on this version of the game. I've even fired up the PSX version that I grew up with and finished it easily. But the Saikyo Dojo has some difficulty algorithm that cranks the difficulty way past my ability around round 6 and before I even get to M. Bison, I'm struggling to stay alive.

Even though I've failed in this Dreamclub Challenge, I've had a lot of fun and learned a LOT about SFA3.

I vote for CvS 1, btw.

Wait, wait...I wanna give this one shot... (actually my 3rd or 4th serious shot after relearning the game some)...

1,511,200 - ChrisH2049 - Karin - Stage 9 ("FatSak")

Image

Karin was a pretty badass addition... I liked how they didn't just make her as another sort of wannabe-shoto facsimile (...to Ken like FatSak to Ryu)... Sakura's rival, but plays completely different (and much more graceful I might add :P). RekkaKen-->HopKick finish; juggle with level3 Kick Super was always fun to pull off for a scrub like me! Geese Howard-like Counters and even a 360 throw...making her like a pseudo-grappler too! Ha. </gushing>

Anyway...carry on.

Just fired up CvS. Please, let's make it this one next. Whatever criteria we go by, I really want an excuse to focus on CvS1 for a couple weeks.

That one is fine by me.

I assume we'll go default:

arcade mode
default settings
best score on 1 credit

So who's all in?

Maru?
CD?
ChrisH?
Blu?
others?

I love the CVS games, but I'm a little wary of jumping from one fighter right into another. Shouldn't we mix it up with a diff. genre and then come back? Then again, maybe everyone's primed for a fighter ; )

What's default? Are we doing one-on-one play throughs are are we doing full teams of three? Or is it however we want to split up our ratios? (Damn, I forgot how much I loved the old Ratio and tier system)
