Thanks. I remember reading the previews on it before it was released and I've had my eye out for it for what seems like forever but never ran across it until today. The concept is just so out there and I'm glad I'll finally have a chance to try it out.

Had a nice little pick up today. $5 for Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland. Expected it to be cart only because of the price, but when I picked it up the seller handed me a pristine box. It is complete right down to the plastic baggie the cart was originally in.

I've been having really bad luck with garage sales so far this season. Apparently luck was on my side this week. The garage sales paid off today. $26 total spent. These were found over three separate sales. Yay! :D

The Ice Blue N64 is actually the only coloured console I currently own so this will be a nice piece of trade bait. Hopefully I can land a colour I don't have for it.

EDIT: The N64 also came with the matching blue controller (bad joystick) as well as a solid green one (good joystick). :D I don't know why I didn't include them in the pic. :?

Went to Gamestop today:

Dokapon Kingdom Wii 22 bucks. Looked like they literally stuck a used label on a new game.

With the insane prices of this over at Ebay I may flip this one. (maybe, might consider trading)

I would try and at least fix the joystick, I did that on my original N64 red one (since it had been worn out to death) and it works. While it might not be worth it, if you plan on using the controller in the future it might not be a bad idea to fix.

Yeah, I usually replace all my N64 joysticks eventually. I don't like many of the aftermarket replacements and I don't have the patience to do the surgery on the existing sticks so I usually just wait until I come across another common grey controller with a good stick and swap 'em. I already have a good ice blue controller so I'll probably just let the next owner of this take care of that.

on friday night i hit up the north side stores with my son while we were waiting for our pizza to be ready for pickup. ended up grabbing this guy for $10:

they had a copy of Guardian Heroes for $50, but despite coming in a full case, it was missing the manual and the traycard, so it was literally disc & case only. complete copies aren't much more than $50-60 so i passed.

I took a trip with my younger sister to WV (Shepard University), and came across a small music store that also sold games. I was browsing the games and stumbled upon an awesome game that I had been looking for, for over two years.

Tengen Tetris is one of those gems you search for that is, IMO, very much worth the hype. Very much.

As an added bonus, try playing the 2p "co-op" with the computer. It's the most frustrating co-op ever! That amazing Nintendo AI that seems to know just how to screw you the worst in any other game is in full force there, except it doesn't seem to understand the concept of "Co-op".
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!

It's just co-oping with the other computer you don't know about.
