What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Smile: Had some ebay sales go way better than anticipated. Also, sold a game to a guy with the most late-90's gaming forum screen name I've seen since the late-90's: Fox_mcloud_FF7. Man, I miss the old days of the internet!
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

This goat and I are shoelace tight now.

Out of mutual respect, I did not call him Billy.

Strawberry picking was incredible. Imagine this, times a thousand, plus goats, cattle, horses, peacocks (typical farm fair):

:D Some long talks with a new friend has gotten me really excited.

 My stepmom came over today and let Zoë eat a bunch of sugar and put stickers on the wall. I was talking with my brothers in the other room and shooting some pool while it was happening so I had no idea until it was too late. Not too thrilled about all this...

:? Landlord came over and helped clean up the mice mess. He's going to lay some traps about and hopefully get rid of the rest of them. The smell is still lingering and there's some fur and bones left over inside the cabinets (these are cabinets kept in storage we don't use). I'll probably need to get a vacuum down in there to clean the rest of it out.

:( Spiders... Spiders everywhere.

Always good to see more smiles than frowns in this thread.

Smile: Somehow I've been blessed with my own personal Clarence Odbody, and it is indeed a wonderful life. My online persona, if you will, is probably nothing like "real life Luke". I'm still probably a bit of a dick, but that's only because I question everything, and some people are defensive and don't like to be questioned.

Anyway! (I'm building a bridge here, I promise) I've got a guy who may as well have dropped from heaven as for some reason it seems his goal is to see me succeed. Do I need his help? Nope. Does he help? Oh yeah. Big time. He'll make my business grow ten fold just with his contacts. He is retired, so he has zero reason to use me to his advantage. He just wants to see me succeed, and retire early (which I could already do, but I LOVE challenges and working). This dude is a saint, and I still have no clue why he wants to do everything in his power to guide me.

I'll find a way to pay it forward, and that's all he wants in return.

Smile: Going to go on a long bike ride with my wife, and nothing makes me smile like seeing her hair flowing in the wind. Hot damn women are gorgeous.

Frown: Weeds. Not the tv show, actual weeds that grow over a foot in two days. Bastards they are.

And ticks. Yay for strawberry picking! Boo for the ticks that come home with you.
