Hi,
Im currently having problems with my NES.
The composite out only works when the RFout is also connected ot the TV, really strange, i already tried testing the nes with various RF units, av cables and power supplies (PAL SNES and NES have the same brick) and still got zero result, the RFshielding gets really hot even after only 10 mins, as far as i can see there are no blown fuses/caps.
Thanks in advance!

Maybe there's a ground problem with the NES or the TV and when you hook up the RF the composite manages to have ground going. Have you tried another TV?

Hey flodder, good to see you hanging around here as well. Don't forget to drop by on tweakcraft once in a while
Back to point, the NES motherboard components are pretty easy to source and replace.
