I haven't yet, it hasn't gotten very good reviews. Have you played the first one yet though? You really should.noiseredux wrote:So who has played LOS2? I watched the trailer and my excitement went way down.

I only played the demo of the first game so far. But I did like it.Stark wrote:I haven't yet, it hasn't gotten very good reviews. Have you played the first one yet though? You really should.noiseredux wrote:So who has played LOS2? I watched the trailer and my excitement went way down.

Waiting for a Steam sale, personally.noiseredux wrote:So who has played LOS2? I watched the trailer and my excitement went way down.
The first game is longer than it needs to (or should) be, but it's ultimately quite good.

Get the 1st one if you don't have it.
Now there's a CV collection which has LoS with all the DLC included, plus Mirror of Fate HD, and a demo of LoS 2.

mmmkay, so that E3 thread has rumors of SOTN2 coming to 3DS. That would be insane. Though I actually really hope that it comes to Steam as well. I liked the 3DS MoF game, but was much happier when it was brought to Steam so I could play it on a bigger screen.

I would go out and buy a 3DS XL on the spot for that game. Unquestionably. I intend to get a 3DS eventually, but if we got a second Symphony on it? Pre-order, day 1 pickup, take time off work, oh god I'm getting excited just considering it.noiseredux wrote:mmmkay, so that E3 thread has rumors of SOTN2 coming to 3DS. That would be insane. You don't need SotN2 to have a reason to grab a 3DS now. Mirror of Fate was an excellent Castlevania game and there are several games that are must play on the system, including Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Fire Emblem Awakening, NSMB2, Super Mario 3D Land, ...KalessinDB wrote:I would go out and buy a 3DS XL on the spot for that game. Re: Castlevania Appreciation Thread
I actually already own Mirror of Fate 3DS (not the first time I've gotten a CV game without the accompanying system -- borrowed my friend's to play it at first), though now I play MoF on my PS3. I do realize that there ARE a lot of other games that need to played too though. Sadly, there are also a ton of older, harder to find games that keep popping up and demanding my money more than the current-gen stuff.Stark wrote:You don't need SotN2 to have a reason to grab a 3DS now. Just finished Castlevania Mirror of Fate for the 3DS.
Man I just could not put this game down and loved every minute of it.
