Ah. So that's what's going on. That makes more sense. I'm used to the clearance stickers at Target, but this is the first time I've seen something labeled Online Item. After reading about it a bit I assume someone ordered the game online, decided they didn't want it after all and since the store didn't carry it any more they had to mark as clearance.Hobie-wan wrote:The red and white sticker like that indicates it is clearance at Target. Also most of the time if a store has something that isn't priced at *.95, *.99, or some other quarter dollar minus one to five cents, the odd digit is some sort of indication of the clearance schedule. So for instance it might have gone 20.10, 15.09, 10.08, 8.07, and then 5.06 since they decided to blow it out.Michi wrote: Wasn't planning on picking that one up, but I found it at Target labeled as "Online Item." It was labeled at $5.06 (interesting pricing decision there) and at that price I figured it was worth a shot.

Well I'm not sure the significance of it saying Online and not Clearance, but it is definitely the sticker they use for clearance items and with the odd pricing it's gotta be something like that going on.Michi wrote: Ah. What Hobie described is true of regular Target clearance. If it's at a price I don't like I wait and if it goes down to a price I like I snatch it up. Otherwise, oh well. It wasn't meant to be.Michi wrote:Ah. So that's what's going on. That makes more sense. However, what you got was a different Target clearance type and you are correct in that this was an item someone ordered online and decided they didn't want so they returned it. If it's not something they would normally carry in store they put the online return sticker on it and slash it way down to get rid of it quickly. I've picked up quite a few items this way and it's another reason Target is my favorite big box retail store.

Re: Games Acquired 2014
Im getting two games that mean alot to me this weekend:
NES - Bible Adventures
Genesis - Exodus
They are both terrible games, but they are the ones that my church bought in the early 90s when they were new. They come in crushed boxes, with the checkout cards. Bible Adventures was last checked out by my little brother in 1994. Almost 20 years to the day.

I actually experienced those games "back in the day" as well. Bible School, man...

Exodus & Joshua are ok for the Wisdom Tree stuff, they're probably the only ones I'd play.

IMO, Spiritual Warfare is probably Wisdom Tree's best game. There is a fun summary of it here:ExedExes wrote:Exodus & Joshua are ok for the Wisdom Tree stuff, they're probably the only ones I'd play.

I would agree to that. Though I do have a sealed copy of King of Kings for the NES:prfsnl_gmr wrote:IMO, Spiritual Warfare is probably Wisdom Tree's best game. There is a fun summary of it here:ExedExes wrote:Exodus & Joshua are ok for the Wisdom Tree stuff, they're probably the only ones I'd play.

Amazing camel riding action.
Re: Games Acquired 2014
Wow that looks like a game I would've enjoyed back in the day. Like many Christian kids of the era I had Exodus and I liked it a lot, I was of course skeptical that I would, but was pleasantly surprised.prfsnl_gmr wrote:IMO, Spiritual Warfare is probably Wisdom Tree's best game.
