Yeah, I just moved mine down to my office while the Wii is upstairs in the living room.
I haven't used the Cube down here, but it's a nice to have the option and looks good (its the black model) next to my Black Sports Dreamcast and Saturn.

I did the exact same thing with mine..'cept mine is purple, and my two DCs are white.
To the OP: You can live without the cube if you own a Wii but like the others have said I wouldn't sell your Cube. Your not really going to get that much for it now-a-days and it's nice to have the option of playing your cube games on the real hardware.
another vote in favor of keeping the gamecube. if i have one of my kids asking to play super monkey ball and another asking to play luigi's mansion there will be no fights breaking out in this house.

The black GC is the one I want to buy. I have no problems with my Wii for GC games but eventually I want to own every system ever made. At one time I owned the purple one and I never liked how it looked.
